How Ninja Theory is changing Devil May Cry

I think Dante speaks for everyone when he says this, but...:'(

probably her own :P

i really like hating Lilith the perfect villain :D

The dude that calls Dante out "DANTE" is now a girl.

Lilith's baby is sentient omfg. That's so creepy. She will have that thing pop out of her like Alien.
I think it's actually a guy and then the camera shifts to to the girl, so it's not a replacemnt, it's just the next shot.

THe baby might not be entirely intelligent, I think it's mostly feral but like any ofspring it knows it's mother.
I don't really like how it got all jumpy in there like a cartoon character that just ate Speedy Gonsalez and he's trying to get away. It's way more goofy than I'd expect.

Sentience is an awareness of the world as a seperate entety from the self so it impliess some cerebral activity. There is the responce to his mother and possible onimosity twards Dante. It's poessible.

Seriously, why does Lilith look like such a weirdo. I know she's supposed to be an evil demon, but Nevan and Echidna were, too, and they were lovely AND scary. This one's design is just really awkward, like a blow-up doll. I wanted her to look cooler, since she's apparently the only aggressive female character we're getting this game. Oh, well, at least she gets to own a whole level.

That's the point. She is obsessed with her looks, hence her features.

Yeah...I think she's supposed to have that "fake beauty" look to her, like women who are obsessed with plastic surgery. I mean...look at her >.< I don't think any other female in the game looks as..."blegh" as Lilith.

Oh, that makes much more sense, but kind of meh, to me, since you'd think a demon wouldn't care about human beauty standards. Or maybe she cares about her demonic form the same way, but she has no real understanding of human beauty the way she does demon beauty.

It's so blaten I thought it be really obvious. She looks like she had her face pulled and went trough enough plastic surgery to juvenize 4 women.

I get that that's a design choise made as a comentary on an aspect of society but demons are both ageless and able to change their form. If Lilith wanted to look younger there are so many things that she could've done, like possess a younger, prittier girl, or use dark magic. She is the devil's mistress, I douth she'd be unable to change her appearence at will or through dark means, such as sacrifise or witchcraft.

That really depends on how demons work in this game's lore, really. We can't apply the same standards of one piece of fiction to another; it's called creative liberties :p

Aha, then why were the club members that were demons not demonic looking but looked like people and when they see Dante they turn demonic?

BUt it's true that there are no solid pieces of evidence that things work any way we might know of and it is a social comment and critique but still, I don't realy care for the design choise.

Changing between forms (or possession) doesn't mean they can simply change what one of those forms looks like. You're assuming something about unreleased material. If they possess a body, maybe the body is simply a vessel, and will age and rot and whatever else like a normal body. Who knows? We'll have to wait and see.

The statement above about the demons in the club were made to point out that demons here have the power to change form, even Lilith seems to have another form, not to insinuate that the other things I said about possesion or sacrifice are true. And besides I think you sorta missed the point; I'm trying to say that I don't like the character design, I understand why they gave her that look, I see how it fits in to the other themes in the game but that doesn't mean I have to like it.

I know that, but you went off on a tangent about how Lilith shouldn't need to alter her body because demons can willingly change their human form, which we don't know is true or not.
