im replaying the game and watch cutscenes and stuff when i noticed. in mission 3 vergil calls mundus, spardas blood brother. they were fighting their uncle?

We never get it really explained what that meant, or if Sparda and Mundus were infact actual brothers, or if they had been so close they were practically brothers except in their demonic bloodlines.

We didn't miss it. We know.

Anyway, I think it's possible but alot of people argue that it's a figure of speach.

I was having Devestator flashbacks from Reveng of the Fallen at that point. Tearing Mundus' sh*t up from inside didn't help that comparsion either. ...come to think of it, Mundus' theme is kind'a similar to the Fallen's theme...

Blood brother can refer to one of two things: two males related by birth, or two or more men not related by birth who have sworn loyalty to each other. This is usually done in a ceremony, known as a blood oath, where the blood of each man is mingled together. The process usually provides a participant with a heightened symbolic sense of attachment with another participant.

The term "blood brothers" is used to describe two men who are close, but not related. If he had meant ACTUAL brothers like Dante and Vergil are, he would have said "brothers." Blood brothers has a completely different connotation than actual brothers.

Sparda and Mundus were brothers in arms. They were brothas from anotha motha.

Basically.

blood brothers plural of blood broth·er (Noun)
Noun
  1. A brother by birth.
  2. A man who has sworn to treat another man as a brother.
Back to square one.

I think, considering how much Vergil and Dante end up fighting (in the original series) it could be possible that Mundus and Sparda were actually brothers. Honestly, the two stories are quite similar, so it could be symbolic of history repeating itself (Dante trusting Vergil then becoming enemies).

Blood brothers doesnt mean they are brothers
Blood brother is kind of a trust/promise
You both basicly cut your hand then stick them together

Basicly its a symbolic share of blood. So many cultures still have this from childhood.
Me and my best friend cut our finger a little bit then put it together and said we are blood brothers.

What you think is biological brother, and they are not absolutely talkin about it.

In my country we call blood brother as ''BLO-BRO'' using like ''DUDE, PAL,BUDDY''

Probably so.

Also, I thought Mundus final form was kinda weird. I'd expected him to fight 1 vs 1 without a transformations.

I was thinking similar, or at least that we'd get a 1v1 before he went into godzilla mode. Mundus beating the **** out of Dante in his business suit could've been pretty cool.

I think Mundus' large form could have been tweaked just a bit visually to be more interesting. Also, one more twist in the combat would've been nice. It would be really cool if, after unlocking and beating Vergil's Downfall, you could go back and fight Kyle Ryder inside Mundus as Vergil during the boss battle.

Oh, and I found that logey Dante spit hilariously awkward.

its kinda sad that mundus was more badass before he transformed
The fight was lame, but it showed how powerful he was, I mean.... He made a bunch of cars and buildings form around him to make an artificial body. With that being said, fighting the human form with super speed/strength would have been amazing.

Probably so.

I didn't like the design, but Mundus' boss fight was pretty fun. I was disappointed that I didn't get to fight his physical body though. :/ But still, he exploded real nice-like!

Another thing a lot of people missed... During the ending, look at the twitter post that says "#demons WE ARE EVERYWHERE" or something like that. The person who posts that? "superninjatam". Guess he couldn't resist putting his name in the game.
