How come the Force Edge didn't awaken when Arkham got the 2 Amulets and awoke Sparda's power?

@DragonMaster2010: I like your input a lot. For me the whole thing behind DMC's Devil Arms was always a case of somebody having to prove something before they could unlock/unleash a power, be it from a weapon or even a Devil Trigger. There was always a test of skill or will beforehand, and I like that concept.

I'm thinking that it had to be someone in the family to activate it. Maybe Trish and Sanctus could still use it after the transformation because perhaps it can't revert back.
