I think Meg was refering to the fact that Dante has always been to cool to smoke.

Its 1 thing that the guy who created Dante has always enforced.

Instead of smoking cigarettes he always ate pizza.

I know it may seem like a lame thing to point out to you reboot supporters but Its something important for the diehard DMC fans.

I agree with this^^^

Nothing against NT but as I have said MANY times on this forum, NT does not have the appropriate track record to handle a established series like DMC IMO.

If you look at all their previous games and see how the reviews and sales are for those games then you will see what I mean.

Its pretty hard not to be concerned when you consider that fact.

Its like handing your baby to a babysitter who has had a mediocre track record with taking care of babies.

of course you are going to be concerned.

And their latest actions and attitude are not helping either.

Capcom is making bad decision moves as of late that I just can not get behind.

What else has he been shown eating besides pizza?

The only thing I can recall that he likes to eat is strawberry sundaes.

And why would he not need to eat?

He is part human and I am sure demons eat in the DMC universe as well.

All of my friends were upset by his new look, I was upset about his weapons style. I'd love a new DMC game, but the moment they changed his look all the fans I know dropped it and started to whine.

They'll have to do what happened with DMC2, (back when they listened to fans) when they realized enough fans were not impressed with the storyline, the fighting/gameplay or Dante's personality, and went back to the original to make a game as good as the first one for the third installment. To fix it, that is.

Unless of course enough people become fans of this new Dante and this new gameverse. If they are, we'll probably be stuck with it.

OMG here we go AGAIN with the whole 'you're not a real fan!' fiasco. For the record, I'm a diehard Dante fan, and yeah it meant something to me that he didn't smoke, too. I'm still supporting DmC though. So where does that put me, I wonder? /rhetorical question

That's not fixing the reboot, though, that's just destroying it before we know about all the problems that need fixing.

If NT wants to FIX the reboot, they need to call this guy in:

I can vouch he'll kick-ass.
And if he mutilates the 'new' Dante, I'm pretty sure DmC will sell twice as well as DMC3.
