HELP IS NEEDED NOW!!!!!!!!

When ever I try to watch an MKV file my screen goes black and I get an error message that says my resolution driver failed.

How do I fix this? Seriously, I have no other option but to fix it.

By the way, I solved the problem. All that was wrong was my resolution driver needed to be updated.
