Im having some trouble with the part with the temporary water...i've got the blue orb fragment...what im a suppossed to do from there...im stuck...HELP!!!!

Okay been a while since I played this you mean as you go up the stares its easy you have to attack the panel on the wall then the water disappears for a short time then you must run up the stairs as quick as you can.
Owww yes totally forgot look you will have to forgive me. Not play DMC 1 for what a long time yes you are right it appears you quickly swim to the top as fast as you can becuase you cant get up the stairs without swiming because thers a big barrier try and get above that then you can get to the top.
