Having a problem

I am not sure if i should post this thread here or in the general discussion

The problem i am having is when i am playing a videogame on PC with a controller in windowed mode the screen goes black while i am playing a game. The same way it does if you left it idle for a few minutes.

you can turn off the timer for idle mode maybe

are you on windows or mac
on windows you got to control panel then power options then you can click choose when to turn off the display
i dont know about mac but it should be under the power options

Oh i am using windows 7. Thanks i will try that.

Yeah it's likely as you aren't using the mouse or keyboard your PC doesn't actually pick up the controller inputs so goes into standby.
