Have any highlights from DmC: Devil May Cry?

Playing the finished game for the first time. It just felt so unreal to finally play it after waiting so long for it. Hell, only holding the damn package after buying it was incredible; I literally sat there grinning for 2 hours straight <3
In the game itself, hmm, probably Dante's mind-rooms (or whatever they were). They're just so beautiful and peaceful!
And all of Mission 2.
Oh, and finding out that they sell Rage meat at that fair :P

I know how you feel, getting it after hearing about it so often and what not.

Wanna do it through PM....wouldn't want to **** off anybody or get your thread locked down. Everything is so peaceful here:P

If you didn't want to start sh!t, maaaaaybe you could just not come here just to **** in people's cereal all the time?

On topic, though.

When Dante gets his Devil Trigger, of course. I just like the color-changing effect to his clothes and hair.

Parrying any of the bosses' attacks, especially the Hunter's claw, where Dante kicks it back into its face, and it falls onto the floor.

A lot of Dante's interactions with Kat, from talking about her spraypaint to Alittleacorn's moment when Kat's captured and Dante can't do anything to help her from Limbo.

Probably my favorite though was when Vergil revealed his intentions, and Dante took a stand, making his own choice on what to do, no longer operating on someone else's plans. Especially when Dante stands up to Vergil and mentions that without Kat they wouldn't have won.

Oh OH! Also, the effect learning of Vergil's true motives and feelings about things has on how you perceive him in subsequent playthroughs. He goes from this triumphant figure working for mankind's freedom against the demons to this manipulative jerk. Once you know that he doesn't think highly of humans, everything he does has a much more negative connotation. His willingness to sacrifice human lives becomes less noble when you realize he's doing it all for himself, and not them.

It's really interesting to see things like that happen. It's like once you know who the murderer is in a mystery, you start to see how everything they do is to further their intentions, or hide them from others. It's like "OH! That's why he did [that]!"

I have no played more and i have to agree, the bob barbas level is pretty amazing. I really like the mission that is two before the boss fight, where dante first enters limbo to get bob. I think it's mission 8. i liked the bantering dante does though. Do we ever actually see sparda?

Mission 3, 4, 8, the art department is outta control in this game.

Yeah i hope they have reason to make a sequel and include more of the characters we like because the art choices are really quite amazing. The cutscenes are awesome, the story is great, and the level design is really creative. This hit the nose on the head for a great hack and slash, because heavenly sword really disappointed

ok, I've been testing this game on some of my friends, 6 to be exact. and the most stand out moments are.

squirrel jizz

Dante likes it rough

entering overturn via bridge

not realizing you can move inside the news

and eryxs lv2 uppercut can lift the butcher.

some played longer than others but none of them have finished the game.

dante: mankind will finally be free
vergil: yes. free from the demons.
*awkward silence*
vergil: the path is clear for us to rule
dante and kat: 0_o
