Have any highlights from DmC: Devil May Cry?

Vergil: ...and I got a bigger d!ck.
Nuff said. :troll:

Seriously, I personally loved Mission 3, aesthetically speaking... I simply, uhm, loved the colours. It's stupid, I know.... >_<
And I really liked the interactions between Dante and Vergil in the beginning, when they are still collaborating.
Another thing, the custscene for Mission 20. It raises so many philosophical/political problems in just a few lines, that I simply can't stop theorizing about it.
Finally, the cutscenes in Vergil's Downfall when Vergil confronts Kat and Dante... Even if I thoroughly hate the comic-like style, the dialogue I really loved. It depicts a man falling to pieces before his insecurities, and I can relate a lot to him, it struck a chord inside me. So yeah, those are my favourite.

  • I really liked the atmosphere in the exchange cutscene
  • And the nightclub level was really good to play through the first time.
  • Also the part when Order HQ is being raided and Dante is with Kat as she's being beaten up and dragged away. That scene was pretty emotional.

raptor news network logo and the upside down bridge. These artists aren't getting paid enough

When Dante remembers his brother and Vergil looks all happy for it, especially when Vergil turns to Kat afterwards with a silent smile all "Like a boss! ;) "

I've not played it until now, but i've liked the videos i have seen for Vergil's Downfall, mainly when he fights with his own "evil side" and dominates it. All the VD thing was a pretty cool idea to be in "Vergil's head", i'll play it when i get my hands on the game again.

Dante punching giant Mundus with Eryx.

And Dante meeting the Butcher. "....And who are you, f**knut?"

I'm definitely agreeing with you on all of those points, with them easily being some of the highlights of the game for me. Especially when the Order HQ is being raided, and Dante is helpless to do anything while Kat is being attacked and dragged away, and he just can't do a single thing to protect her. That was certainly one of the defining moments in the game for me.

This moment, kills me every time.

  • When Dante beats the Hunter's ass and says, "I don't know about my mother but if you're calling me a son of a bitch you wouldn't be the first!" Then he proceeds to make the hunter's face hole even deeper.
  • When Dant remembers Vergil and his lost family, and confronts Vergil about it.

PFFF every single damn moment in the game...

I just started playing and havent gone past mission 2 yet, but so far i love the depictions on Eva. She is always holding a blue rose, which i find as a nice easter egg or allusion to Nero. I hope he is included somehow in the next game. I have a feeling DmC 2 will cover the fighting between Dante and Vergil in DMC 1 and 3 and maybe we can then get into the "making of" Nero.

My favorite moment was when the game ended.
For me it would be putting the disc in and starting the game:P

Also the part with Dante in the elevator with the cheesy music, then he says how it's hell. That got a giggle out of me.:P

And Vergil's 'bigger d!ck' line.

And for some reason Lilith saying she was Mundus' bitch, followed by calling Eva a whore made me laugh. Gee...and you're not a whore, Lilith.:troll:
