lol, i watch'em just to c who survives n how the others are brutally murdered, btw in the original Nightmare On Elm Street I freaked out when:
a) Johnny Depp was swallowed by his bed
& b) the very end when Freddy snatched the girl's mother through that little window (okay so maybe i laughed)

While on the topic of horror movies...2001 Maniacs and its sequel. My favorite deaths in both movies had to be when the gay guys get killed just because it's SO FREAKING IRONIC. In the first one, he gets a spear rammed up his ass with a thing of corn tied to the tip (he was having a picnic with his friends a few moments ago) and in the second one the guy is pretty much confessing his love to one of the maniacs; said maniac rips his heart out and promptly eats it. Not even kidding, it is HILARIOUS.
