What things do you do, knowing full well are a bad/unhealthy/unconstructive, that you do anyway just because you enjoy it that much?


my answer is simple: Californication.
Why? well i'll put it in spoilers, because i feel like typing a few paragraphs right now.

It's a show that glorifies a man (Hank Moody) who's the biggest scum of the earth. He's a complete douche, a terrible father, a terrible husband, a raging amoral alcoholic, and he sleeps with every girl he lays eyes on (who are portrayed in a pretty degrading light). The only character who's a decent human being is made out to be an antagonist because the main character doesn't like him. To be more specific, he's the Mr. Right that the mother of Hanks child started dating after he systematically ruined every chance he got.

I know, you've never sunken low enough to watch it. You're far too decent to be into it. So "how could a show be so appealing?" you ask. The dialogue writing goes a long way. The main character is a successful writer/novelist with writers block, which gives him an enormous wallet to splurge and an excuse to act better than everyone. His incredible ability to use words and make anyone look like a bad guy, combined with an uncanny charm, makes him dangerously fun to watch.

For the most part, it's a guy show. But in my defense, there are girls-a-plenty who find his character just as entertaining as I do. Despite how fun it is, the backwards morals that the show pushes onto the viewer are too large and too many to dismiss. Hence: A guilty pleasure.

Strike Witches, Queen's Blade), playing games with a male main character and sometimes letting him get hit on purpose just to hear him scream/make a hurt noise. Last one sounds pretty sadistic, otl.
I REALLY wanted to collect those Mattel Monster High dolls for the longest time. I sometimes watch the short-clips and looove Draculara xDD

Also, I have unremovable shipping goggles. Makes watching movies in class much more interesting. ;D

Wow... Shonen as a guilty pleasure. I'm not making fun of such a thing, it's just... Unorthodox to me. I've never known anyone who felt guilty about that, so yeah... This is coming from the person who has trouble enjoying things meant for girls. I can't connect with the media made for girls. Meh.

I tend to try to step away from highly immature humor like fart, butts, and the like. It isn't a guilty pleasure, but I feel under my intellect when I laugh about bathroom humor... I was raised on it, and don't think it will ever let go. I also like to try and write nasty stories just for the sake of making stories about nasty things. It's basically all South Park humor, so it really is uninspired, sadly. I wouldn't mind making my own version of Mr. Garrison's romance novel.

Now... This'll get kinda sad. I'm not looking for a dad. The thing is, I'm a metalhead, and love metal, but also like... Ummm... One Soulja Boy song. It's called Successful. I normally listen to horror rap or Slick Rick if I listen to rap.

To stay on topic, I kinda enjoy playing the game Mario Is Missing. Kill my sense of justice if you want, but ever sense I found the game learningful, I like it. Guess that info on some Russian building that was funny really made the game for me. I also like breaking the rules my mother sets me when I'm practicing say skateboarding or parkour. I wanna jump over the freakin' flower pot, woman!
I also secretly... Enjoy bad fanfiction. Only for the fact that it's funny. The Goku X Anne Frank fan fiction just is too funny to hate completely. Look it up. It's called Until the End of Time. The author is oblivious to the hate the story gets... Oh, and I actually enjoy Facebook despite claiming to not like it much. I don't like it much, but I like it.

Most of my guilty pleasures are just because of how stupid something is, or how silly it is to feel restricted just because I can't jump over a flower pot. Or fence...

Also, I legitimately enjoy watching Cougar Town.

I do that as well, when I'm alone I like to daydream a lot and create some cool fantasy worlds and play them out. I hate horror but Dead Space gave me that thrill rush that I oh so needed.

Well... When I was younger I used to create these fantasy worlds were I acted a part of. Now, I've lost the will. There is too much to keep up with to think about it, my motivations just runs out when I realise I've got several deadlines the next week and personal troubles comes visit. >.<

And, I've got this weird pleasure where I like a part of the pain when I scrape myself. I mean, I want to avoid it, I don't like getting scraped, but... <.< >.> ._. I know... I'm weird. D:
