So, I have been playing a lot and I am pretty sure I have already come across many many more glitches than I ever found in DMC 4.

Just now I was trying to do Mundus' Spawn no damage on DMD and on an attempt where I was about to do it, it wouldn't let me pull the old woman out of the beast, it just wouldn't let me, when I tried to grab the boss glitched to a different position, then a few seconds later I took damage from nothing.

On that level alone here are a few other glitches:

  • Boss hitting you while invisible
  • Boss hitting you without an animation
  • Taking damage from nothing
  • Taking damage from an attack that didn't even travel in your direction.
  • Incorrect animation for the attack the boss is using.
  • After pulling off the red arm, if you're in a certain position it doesn't register you as holding down the LT (L2) button, you have to change position to be able to hook even if the thing is lit up like it is ready to be hooked.
Admittedly I have played this boss for longer than the others, after all it's the only boss that doesn't die ridiculously quickly, and the only one that has any sort of challenge to it.

I have found lots of other glitches while playing through the game, many to do with grappling and some to do with cutscenes, but really all sorts. After checking youtube I found that many other people were finding glitches that I hadn't even come across yet either.

Anyone else found that this game has many more mistakes than others?

Are you playing on the PS3? Because PS3 and Unreal just don't mix well together.

I had these exact issues with the PC version as well. The first level boss is FILLED with bugs. I have fought him about 5 times and every time I run into some kind of bug. Only two were game breaking. Mundus Spawn and Mundus fight I had game breaking bugs. I had a bug where I killed Mundus and Dante just falls through the level non stop. I've also had bugs where I'm using a demon weapon and go to use grapple and it shoots my guns for some odd reason even though the demon weapon is visible toggled.

Then it's definitely bad design.
 
Yeppers I was. Though even in that consideration I think they could've done far better than what they gave us.

AW was meant to be a "cinematic" game of sorts, so they heavily focused on QTE's and such. I didn't mind it at all since they did a pretty good job in pretty much emphasizing the godlike powers of each character (other than the dark- skinned woman, she just kind of left the game).
 
Wow...I still haven't run into any bugs or glitches O___________o You people unlucky as ****, yo.
 
I've run into a glitch with the Mundus Spawn where it was like when I tried to grapple Lilith to yank her out, the Spawn would instead go through his falldown animation instead. Didn't really break anything, just meant I had to re-whittle down the Spawn again. Worked right the second time.
 
not sure if glitch or good strategy, the tyrants can be taken down fairly easily through fully charging aquila round trip causing him to continuosly fall for as long as the aquila round trip lasts. this window of opportunity allows for heavy attacks and kablooey shots to his back which will knock him back down with 2 darts. kablooey is amazing when used correctly
 
I don't know if this would count as a bug, but on the Mundus fight, I went to get out of the way of the lava attack by using the hook, but the camera was focused on the lava attack and so Dante fell instead of getting out of the way. >_< I've also noticed a few problems with attacks not connecting and the dodge being unresponsive at times, but that's a minor gripe. ^_^

I've noticed that exact issue, I still latched on, but the camera does that all the time.
