Sure, I don't think getting a mature rating and then using it as an excuse to be as vulgar or sexual as possible, but so long as it's done well, I don't care. DmC so far has done fine. Just don't need to be so sensitive over a game.

HA! It's not me that's getting sensitive, it's the old fans who are feeling like that. Some of them are even saying that he cusses a million times when he only cussed like twice or three times, (sure there could be more) and the original one doesn't at all when he actually did. The GTA games got a BUNCH of cussing in it and people don't care about it, so did games like Shadow the Hedgehog (though too much "Damn", needs a little more "hell" and "crap"), Red Dead Redemption, all those games that have strong language.
The the old crybaby fans, yes.

I never liked it. It didn't add any significance to the actual story. It was just added here and there to make Shadow look cool.
Plus, Sonic games were always E or T rated with no swearing involved because they didn't need it. At all.
It was forced to a point where I could barely finish the game as a kid. (roughly around 13/14 years old).
I didn't like it back then and I didn't like it now.
