im not much of a megaman or dmc fan anymore but im curious what they do next with them.

My prediction is Mega Man Legends remaster collection, a new Ace Atty game, and a DMC remake of some sort (combine DMC1+3?).

I really hope for NOT a DMC remake. I'd rather a spinoff, like Prince of Persia had a Metroidvania and 2D roguelike the past couple years. It'd be cool if they did something like w/ DMC.

I used to really love the vampire theme in my entertainment/hobbies. I still kinda do, although it's maybe like my 6th or 7th favorite theme nowadays. But for some reason, Blood of the Dawnwalker just isn't doing much for me yet. Still, I'm aware of the credentials of its creators. I'll see how it is when it releases.

It would certainly be on-brand for Atlus for the announcement of the 30th anniversary of the franchise to not have anything to do with the specific game actually turning 30... :ROFL:

another remaster for modern consoles would be ideal.

someone did fanart of the p1/2 cast popping up in P4 arena and id want that too.

a sequel with the original cast would also be fun. some fans like me would want an older cast/setting so thats one way to get it.

What has been revealed so far? Just mobile crossovers?

I'm really hoping for a new spinoff. Preferably of a pre-P5 game. I've learned that Persona mainline games aren't for me. I'm not a fan of Persona mgmt (even if it isn't as difficult or complex as it used to be), I'm not a fan of the force day/night cycle, and I'm not a fan of combat being designed around hunting for weaknesses (although I can just use guides for that).

However, I DO love fighting games, character action games, tactics games, etc. And, wouldn't you know, P4A, P5S, P5T all exist. Please, Atlus, make a P4 soulslike or a P2 precision platformer! Or a roguelike deckbuilder! Luckily, I've watched all the anime for P3, P4, and P5, so I still know the base stories and characters, so I still feel fully engrossed in the Persona worlds when I play the spinoffs w/o having played P5 or P5R, for example.

i dont hate the spinoffs but they often feel like halfbaked filler episodes than real sequels so i just avoid most of them.

i liked P5 Strikers the most so far so a strikers 2 would be my ideal pick.

So a P5 strikers 2 that focuses on Inaba, Tatsumi port Island and other previous locations would be cool.

P5 Arena would also be fine.
 
Can we just get more Debra Wilson in games? I feel like I have not been lectured by Debra Wilson enough as a character in every game I've played lately. We need more of Debra Wilson lecturing in some form or fashion, or a game cannot be considered a proper modern release. I do not game to escape. I game so I can be put in my place by Debra Wilson, like all gamers.
