Gamespot doing a Now playing segment on DmC on april 10th?

And by addicting, you mean??? :P

Anyways, a good demo is a demo that shows the essentials of the gameplay along with a little part of the story, just enough to give us the taste of blood, leaving us wanting more.
hopefully there isn't going to be an arcade shooter between levels like bayonetta....that was a FAIL

Basically what i want to see is the first time you get to play as Dante and kill a few enemies, with just a little story because i'm tired of making assumptions. Just enough time to kick some demon ass and use my traversal powers. I just hope they don't show the very beginning of the game because i know that it is going to be nuts. In HS, you fought HUNDREDS of enemies. In Enslaved you were crash landing, running along the wings of an airplane, trying to reach an escape pod. DmC should be pretty sweet, and by sweet, i mean brutal, and by brutal, i mean addicting.
i like beginnings of HS and Enslaved , and i don't want to see DmC's beginning in this demo ( let them surprise us when we got our hands on the game )
i actually want to see Vergil right now ( or some new characters , like the one who warned Dante in the end of TGS Extended trailer ) , let's just hope that this Demo is not some upgraded version of TGS Demo, i really want to see something new ( and let's hope that this Demo have the HUD )

If Vergil is in this game, that is.

LOL, i thought you said

I thought u were going to do something very dangerous or something

lol, no no, I just meant that there are so many who assumes Vergil will be in the new Devil May Cry, but what if he isn't? No where has it been confirmed that Vergil will be in the game. Ninja Theory have said we will see some familiar faces, but they never said it would be Vergil.

to me, most everything in Bayonetta was executed masterfully, even the less-fun arcade-shooter interludes...
Bayonetta may not look very good, but its gameplay is awesome. I think dmc4's gameplay is actually more technical than bayonetta as well. I cannot honestly say i like the story and once i've beat it,, there really wasn't anything left in the cutscenes worth taking a second look. except for maybe watching "Joy" be introduced. Route 666 and the rocket riding level were brain numbing and to me, not a good contrast to the excellent combat.

Im sure Bayonetta 2 won't bring anything new to the table as far as story, but hopefully the combat will evolve further.

They are based on SEGA arcade games, Bayonetta did a lot of parodies of videogames. My opinion but those arcade games were fun (probably because I played them on emulators).

Bayonetta was easy to control. The one thing I like about Bayonetta and Ninja Gaiden is how easy it is to control the avatar onscreen. The character just moves the way you want. Bayonetta has awesome air time, Ninja Gaiden gives great freedom of movement while attacking- even allowing you to throw yourself through your enemies. DMC 4 feels like you're fighting the controls as much as the enemies. I feel stiff. I should not have to hold a button, hit jump AND move the control stick all at once to execute a simple roll. I felt stifled while playing with the time-based single button attack system as well. The characters just don't move as freely as the other two games... The series has thrived on it's characterization and style through it's hardest times. That's the reason Bayonetta can never replace Dante. Ryu Hayabusa couldn't buy a personality.
