Gamecube memory cards

Hi.
Old subject maybe.

Does anyone know how or why unofficial GC memory cards corrupt so easily?

I managed to rescue my adorable chao called Vergil from a sonic adventure 2 battle before the memory card corrupted.
I would've been very angry if i lost him.

Is there anyway to stop mem cards corrupting?

^Hum, I've personally never found that my Memory Cards corrupt. I have about three official and two unofficial Gamecube memory cards and have never had any problems, except running out of space ^^

I would just ensure that its fully inserted, no dust in the port etc ^^

I have always had problems with those memory cards. Can't trust them as far as you can thro-...wait you could probably throw them pretty far so scratch that.

But yeah I could never really figure out why my data was always corrupting.

I find them a complete pain in the @$$. I'm gonna have to try and get some official ones.

I posted this question to see if anyone has had the same problem.
