Game Length and other info from person who has review copy..

DMC4 has 2 hrs worth of cutscenes.
Bayonetta has 2 hrs 30 minutes worth of cutscenes.

I'm expecting DmC to be 3 hrs or more if it's really that story heavy.

I really doubt it'll be much longer. It seems to flow just as those games did from what we've seen. I'm pretty sure that with all the emphasis put onto the story over the course of development and the fact that it's Ninja Theory, it's kind of a subconscious thing that has people thinking it's going to be super long. They can tell a well woven and impacting story in the same amount of time.

Not saying it won't be longer, but I'm not convinced by what we've seen.

There's a good chance it'll be around 2 hrs though. Even God of War, with it's story heavy gameplay, has about 2 hrs and 15 minutes.

I dunno, if a game has a story to tell, they can make cutscenes as long as they want, in order to not break the flow.

The game law should be being able to pause and save during cutscenes :p

^Thisss, because it never fails with me I have to know what is going on in the story of the game and I either have to go answer nature or get hungry/thirsty but don't want to move or I will miss something since seeing it for the first time is important...we need to make this law because my gods MGS4 I for the first time said 'Pluck it' and went to do what I had to missing it but funny when I got back it was still going on.my face was all 0_o really? lol

I was talking of when I first played it, did not know anything about the game since my cousin started the game taking over for my cousin so yeah that is going in blind. I still want it to be law! xD

It would be a useful law. I know on the 360 a few games will pause a cutscene if you go into the mini dash, not sure about PS3's in game XMB though. You could probably test it on the demo.

Some games let you do that. Sometimes it's actually your only option because hitting Start will skip the cutscene.
