Game Informer Review !

A review score is usually based off the content of the review, but usually its more of a general mark. Lock on and bosses were an issue, but to game informer everything else was so good that it deserves a 9/10.

I don't know, I can see someone giving Alan Wake a 9/10 despite the awful "final boss fight" (can it even be called that?), I just think that bosses are too essential for a game like this, precision and a story in a story-driven reboot should also have a lot more weight.

But yeah, reviews are more for a general audience than to the dedicated crowd of that genre, so I shouldn't expect more than an overview for people on the fence about buying the game. Around here everyone knows exactly what they're getting out of it so we all know if we want the game.

A lot of people just look at review scores and nothing else. The score is only for those people who don't care about the content of the review. A 9/10 says "good, but with some disappointing parts." granted, the bosses seem pretty easy, but I like the spectacle and the creativity of it.

I guess I just forget that when it comes to games, the score is like 7~10 instead of 0~10, because the way I see it, 9/10 is a nearly flawless game, a score only a few games should reach.

"good, but with some disappointing parts" would be my 6, 7 at best.

Anarchy Reigns that recently got released is getting around 7 in score because "Good game but disappointing parts", which is a fair score. I like Anarchy Reigns but it got some flaws.

Sad to hear that about the last level cause usually with NT and I will argue this there last levels are pretty damned epic. The god mode in HS and the giant mech in Enslaved. So im actually very surprised to hear the last level isnt up to snuff :\

Shame that the combat in both Heavenly Sword and Enslaved was pretty mediocre.
