And there was another anime series, one of the first to premiere in my country I think, that my whole family got into, but for the life of me I can't remember the name. It influenced the direction of my writing, though. Was a damn good show. I remember there being an 'X' somewhere in the title but that's about it. *is a sad panda*

^....nope, I don't recall there being any Japanese influence in it (or not so blatantly). It was in the same styles as the Batman and Spiderman cartoons, just better. It was pretty much American, I think. LOL...the third eye there freaked me out. All I remember (clearly) from the show was some guy with black hair speeding after this huge truck/vehicle on his motorbike, even though the people in the vehicle were after him. I distinctly remember that because I was 'wtf is this guy DOING?', because back then I couldn't grasp why he'd go to the people he'd been trying to run and hide from all the time. It was also the last episode
