The unskippable "Memory whirlpool" effect and entering the Virility factory.
My hands begin to itch with the lack of action fed to them.

I love mission 13, that one in Lillith's night club but I hate mission 2 due to that "unskippable memory whirlpool" as crush already called it.

best is the carnival boardwalk. more levels could've used the more twisted real world theme instead of the constant "chunks of city debris floating in a void" the late game turned into

worst for me was all the lead up to bob barbas. i dunno why everyone praises that part for how it looks because the actual GAME part of it is a bunch of tedious platforming followed by a ground-pound-the-weak-spot boss that belongs in a mario game, not dmc

I liked the virility factory beginning; figured they were going to have me come back through that and that they were basically giving me a "sane" preview of the level. Still couldn't find sh*t though, lol.

Agreed on the whirlpool. Random quotes you already heard before, and unskippable... yea, I know a loading screen when I see one.

My favorite level(s)- Mission 7: Overturn. The upside version of the city with the reversed down pour made if feel very trippy. And I love the dream level. It was hauntingly beautiful. Hell both of them are.

Least favorite level(s)- Mission 2: Home Truths: It felt a little uninspired to me. Considering Limbo is supposed to be this bizarre other worldly place were logic is not the ruler, but the whims of its malicious master or something.

My personal Favorite was Lilith's Nightclub.,purely because less cutscenes, more action.

My least favorite was The Trade. Too much cutscenes,Too much platforming, barely any action. Very boring.

Let's see, I love Found, Devil's Dalliance, The Plan and Demon's Den. Mostly because of the way Limbo works on all these levels, except for Demon's Den. I like that one for the puzzle.
And I hate Home Truths, Overturn, Under Siege and Furnace of Souls. Home Truths because I felt it was boring; Overturn because it introduces the Rages, if I'm not mistaken, and they are on top of my "EFF YOU!" list; Under Siege because all you do is follow Kat for most of the level, it's plain boring; Furnace of Souls because it took me ten tries to get a SSS on Nephilim.

Fav:
1 mission- nice enviroment, unique, a lot of fight.
4 mission- clasic city level, nice graphics, a lot of fight
13 mission(lilith club)- unique, music, a lot of fight

Least fav:
2 mission- memory sequnce, to much walk (this level was nice for beating the game for the first time, reapeting it was boring)
16 (mundus tower)- ugly graphics, boring enviroment, monotonous and long.
12 under siegie- half of level was to follow kat.

Missions 16 and 17 were definitely my favorites. 16 because, admittedtly, I'm just a huge sucker for "going up the huge-ass tower lair of the big bad" levels in video games. And mission 17 because, holy crap, no cutscenes! Not that I hated cutscenes during gameplay (found it a bit annoying a few times, but not to the point of cringing), but having one mission with no story interruption and purely seamless, continuous fighting and moving around the place felt sooo satisfying. Plus I enjoyed the "hellish" environment we haven't had in a game of the series since DMC2.

Mission 15 was definitely my least favorite. Had they thrown in some more fights (and forced you to fight them instead of being able to get around them) and make it overall longer, it would have been decent. This was just too short and uneventful.

"Waiting for one's arrival."
For me it has to be Lilith's club and the carnival level. Both were amazing visually and offered a fun boss fight.

Hmm, let' see.

I really enjoyed Lilith's Club. The colors and the memorable music always have me replaying that mission. I also enjoyed the levels where you meet with Phineas. The upside down effect was very creative and interesting.

The Virility Factory level was probably my least favorite. Only reason why is because I found it was very dull. Had me running around a lot and replaying the mission again and again to find all the secret goodies.

Other than that, DmC was a very fun and visually-striking game to play :)

Going to go with the 1st mission at the pier and the one at Lilith's club. Why: Looks so cool and I like the uniqueness.

Least favourite: The one escorting Kat around the Order HQ. The pace was just too slow for me at the start, then suddenly an enemy rush at the end. It just seemed jarring. But I did love the ending scene to the mission.

Play 'Virility' on Hell and Hell difficulty and I guarantee it will become your least favourite.

Favorite would probably be mission 16 when they are invading Mundus's tower. I liked the execution of that entire level, especially when everything went all blueprint-like, and the "Squee" of the marker. Also that level would make a great FPS horror level.

Least favorite, definitely the nightclub. **** that level on DMD with it's RED everywhere and goddamnit I can't see the harpie attacks and **** YOU WITCHES AND YOUR RED SWORDS going blind flashing bullshit GRAAAAH

Also the mission that was in the demo-- mission 5 or 6? Whether it's the demo or the full game, that level is rather boring. Little appeal to it story, gameplay, or visually. His snazzy little quip about how boring church is is the only reward for getting through that level. But point to that wall you meet the first time in playing that level, I was genuinely startled.

I think the Night Club mission (#13) is one of the best in video game history. I also really liked mission 16, the one where you invade Mundus' building, it felt like we were having a heist like in Ocean's 11 lol
I don't think I have a least favorite, but I would say Eyeless, just because I hate backtracking.
