My heart feels like​
it is being squeezed​
crushed​
bled out dry​

the world feels beautiful​
meaningful and full of​
Life​
when you smile and laugh​

But alas,​
we are only​
friends...​
 
All these pent up emotions...​

feel like they are banging madly on the pexi-glass cage​

they are trapped in​

I'm transparent, but you won't see them come out​

I for once really believe I'm in love...not lust or infatuation​

I really hope im right for​

A dream world
everything picture perfect
a drop falls
it shatters to
P i e c e s

The world continues to break
a girl huddled in the middle
confused
What did she do to deserve this?
Nothing
The kind-hearted get stepped on
even in the most innocent of ways

Time to cry away the pain
get up and move on
become harder, unbreakable
take it as it comes
and continue to love again
even as she knows
her world will shatter
once

It's been awhile since I have posted here. *dusts off thread* Wow, maybe too long. In case some people don't know (if they are new) or simply don't remember, my former name was Faust. I love writing poems, as some would love listening, or creating music (and more) to soothe their soul.

Demons of past
come in vast numbers
Playing with my heart
They turn it around
upside down
Inside and out
The simplist things
Fire me up

Blood Boils
Everything stained red
I clutch my heart and begin to dread
Past monsters coming to haunt
thy present
Ruining moments of good
breaking and burning
most bridges
Tears run down my cheeks
Dark secrets
Skeletons
Come out to the light
I fear them
Pulling the curtain over
Submerged in darkness once more
What more could I ask for?

A hand appears from nowhere
I leave it,
But continues to stay
Nothing is certain in this mind
Chaos running amok
Skeletons hollow laughter
Demon cackles
I finally reach out
and brought back to life

Purpose and meaning
It is a rough world out there
Past demons no more
Forgive and forget
Skeletons begon
You have nothing to fear
The past stays the past
Don't let it bring you down
Nothing is certain
But one thing is:

Love is stronger
It can conquer all
For you my love,
I will do my best
to vanquish these
demons of past
They do not belong here
with you and I
I will let them go
and let them fly away
as Butterlies would
Ride upon the wind...
 
Oblivion

Feed me...
I am your stress, hopelessness, frustration
Depression, anxiety, fear
Anger, loss and jealousy
Feed me.
Empower me with that
Ever so kindled aggression
You fondle it,
Revel in it
My iron clad grasp
Threatens to crush your heart
Listen to every word of desperation
I know you want to hear it
Don't fight me!
I'll tighten the noose
Choking the very essence out of your lungs
Making every moment a painful breath of reminders
I'll suffocate you in past regrets
Yes that's it,
Come to me
I\ll put you through more blissful misery
You always come back for more
You sad, pitiful creature
You seem to love the pain, the drama,
I will see to it that it's raised a tenfold
Only so you can remember me
And everything I have taken away
And caused
