Far too Mutilated to be called "REBOOT"

I really enjoyed "they live" I was a huge rowdey piper fan and the movie for me had a parallel universe with aliens and government. When I saw the messages appear on DmC I was excited that they used similar techniques to poryray the demon world. Its a good source to to use and many people dont know about it, a nice easter egg.
There arent many original ideas in gaming anymore and thete are far too many sequels. And for a game designer you need to draw inspiration from somewhere and movies are a usual source to draw from.
On topic.
If your going to insult people by name calling, have the b***s to use your real name.

A story about killing demons because they got a illusion grap on the human populations is pretty generic.
However, one can make a generic story great through story telling.
So now there are two things i will look for when watching DmC story on Youtube 1) Originality of the story 2) Story telling skills: music creating atmosphere (sad incident sad music), great voicing, narrative etc.

P.S Rowdey Piper is very cool in the movie. Funny enough he looks very like John Cena.

Unfortunately, The new Devil May Cry game, is an unfortunate by-product of a letting a someone write a fanfic of the game. Only written by someone with no writing experience in their entire life. Ninja Theory, is renowned for getting a hold of a game and completely destroying it. Making it far to disgusting to even think of a new game.

Capcom, should have learned from the first time they have made such a severe mistake like this, which in turn produced Devil May Cry 2. If you want to find a true and proper "Reboot" turn to the Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary. That is what is called a reboot. DmC is a grotesque mutilation of the actual game series... Yeah sure... there will always be people who will buy the game, and play it. but you know what, when Ninja Theory cannot catch a hint, on why the Devil May Cry fan base is so absolutely furious, and has to defend themselves with the whole "Don't dog it until you try it" act.

It should be a red flag in the first place, that they are turning Dante, into a crackpot, emotional, bratty child. whom by the way is, a combination of devil and angel, not devil and human(they've declared him a fallen angel by the way) who is also on the run from the human government, on charges of slaughtering humans(yeah thats right, they turned Dante into a mass murderer)

taking, a iconic character, that revolutionized the way we looked at demons, a mercenary. is an insult to everybody who loves the great hero.

bottom line, Ninja Theory is removing everything that made Devil May Cry, and turning it into some stupid concept that targets the tools and asinine jerks.

While I don't enjoy shooting people down for their opinions, I could not resist the chance to be a total...donkeyhole.

HMMMMMMMMMm.....I think I've read this before. OH YEAH! About 17,894,093 times. Let me break this down and comment on it by reading it backwards. Ninja Theory isn't removing anything save for the old Japanese style of the original series. Gun and sword action, demon hunting, badass main character (a different badass than origiDante may I add), and style.
Also, I'm a tool and asinine jerk for thinking this new Dante is cool? Ok I'm being a jerk right now, but that's because I've HAD IT with overly biased, fairly ignorant comments.
The only thing this guy revolutionized was the hardcore action game genre. Demons are the same as always. Ugly, fire-breathing, growly voice. YEAH..huge change.
Just because our guy is thin and smokes(-ed because we haven't seen a cigarette near him in a while) doesn't make him a crackpot. I have no clue where you're getting the emotional and bratty parts either. So he's a little angrier than the old Dante. Is that a crime? Is it?
The half-angel, half-demon thing. Uhh...yeah. This guy isn't origiDante, dude. They're changing things. They're not making a sequel. They're not making Devil May Cry 5. Noticed the difference in the title??
Hmm, the fan base is furious? More like immature. Because most of what I've seen (most as I've seen mature anti-DmC-ists around here who can prove points and give GOOD reasons as to why they don't like this game), a lot of the DmC haters, for lack of a better word, just whine and whine and whine even though they have NO idea what this game's story is.
Ok, now, here we are at this paragraph. I've seen this all before. Ninja Theory is only making the game. CAPCOM HIRED THEM TO MAKE IT DIFFERENT. Ninja Theory's only made like, what, three games? And they're all revered for story.
Please, speak for yourself when it comes to the quality of the game.
Don't talk for the thousands of other fans out there who have better arguments than your completely unoriginal, biased, and ignorant complaints.

Yes, I do realize this may seem a little buttholey of me. And yes, I know I'm shooting down an OPINION. But I am using my own opinion. So go ahead, talk me down if you want. I'm just giving the opinion I've had since the beginning about these ignorant claims.
I am tolerant of people who don't like what I like. I respect people who can give their opinions well. I respect Quentarus's opinion about DmC, but not his claims against it, and that is why I am commenting the way I'm commenting.

Vezild, if you are fed up with what the thread user wrote then why bother replying to it? And into such an ironic-way of talking? If you had a problem with him, you could convey it with a personal message and not let your rage affect your post, in which you actually present fair points, but somehow "lose" them for talking like that. I'm just saying
And the last sentence, are you serious? I'm afraid after that one the thread will be locked. We don't actually WANT a flame. If you do, keep it private

And to clarify something for everyone here. You all say you've read all that millions of times, don't you?

Still, after having made that awesome feat, you continue to feel like every insult is directed to you and by you I mean the fans of DmC who got offended. The thread user made a thread, expressed his opinion. In the last sentence said that he hates this game so much, that he believes that whoever buys it is blablabla.

Point 1: He hates a game that has not even been released, so what does that make him?

Point 2: You get offended by such a person's opinions, so what does that make all of you? All I get is that whoever wants to get insulted, he/she will. I will buy the game. And I am pretty sure I'll like it, but I am not offended to what he said, I personally do not care.

And last but not least - yeah Quentarus your last sentence WAS uneccesarry and you should refrain from posting stuff like that, since as you can see it sort of created chaos because everyone was offended - while I'm pretty sure you did not write it to start a flame.
