Current FF writer James Robinson talks about the books cancellation.

yeah. to be fair, the book hasn't been selling well for a while. i'll try to find some stats on it's sales for the past few years. but they DO have an audience.

Wow... if a (relatively) low-cost project can get canceled in this economy, then most "Double A" (AA) game studios don't stand a chance in this cutthroat environment.

FantasticFour is not my favorite team or any of the characters.
They were just so plain & average to me.
It's like they weren't anything beyond sidekick or support characters.
There's no charisma from them, even Doom.

It sucks they're getting cancelled but it sucks worse that nobody came up with ways of getting them out off the B-list so to speak with the readers.

they'll probably get relaunched anyway with a brand new #1 issue again...just like last year...and 3 years before that...and 10 years before that...come to think of it, FF gets cancelled a lot.

Probably, they are a recognisable name even if they aren't as popular as others.

i'm pretty sure that once the movie comes out, the fantastic four is going to be back on the shelves a month before release
