*shudders* German dub German dub German dub ugh >_<
And big bad NO, "Dante der Dämonentöter" doesn't sound good AT ALL. Just. Incredibly. Silly. Well, at least they translated the script quite literally :/
But out off all the dub voices, I kinda find the German one to be closest to the original... still a bad performance, though.
I really don't get why they seem to have given Poison a sex change operation in the French and the Italian(?) dub, and made her a cute Japanese school girl in the Spanish one (O_O);
And why doesn't she scream at Dante in some of the dubs? Ok, it seems they at least tried in the German and French one, but the others...?

It's really hard to find good German dubs, isn't it? *sigh* Not only are them completely emotionless, but the voices just don't match the characters.

I'm really starting to think that Europe is going through some kinda dub hell :/
Something I just can't understand is why they are even bothering with dubs, yet don't make sure that they get it right or at least give the dubbing companies some video material of the scenes they are dubbing, so that the voice actors can get a better feeling for their characters! I mean the way it is, they could have just saved the money they needed for the dubs and invested it in something more useful (-_-);

As for Far Cry 3, some actors were canadian and spoke english and french, and dub themselves in both, explaining why it sounded great there too...
The Mass Effect series had an awesome dub, the Kingdom Hearts one too, the old Lucasarts Games (monkey island, sam and max etc...), hummm....
I guess Heavy Rain was good. That's it. Otherwise it's mostly crap :/ ..
As for this DmC and its french version, at least it's done "correctly", problem is that they were aiming for "trashy street talk" and it's exactly what they got so... meh. But it's not google translated. (some games still do it .. but not high budget games though)

In Poland if this game will come in Dub or text it will have this word changed with Polish explicit version too what I will not write as it is vulgar word too.
