Ah, my internet connection isn't quick enough to play the video at the moment... but if I try later it might work then.
I could do some translations, though, of the new Japanese info at the bottom of the page. If that is needed, that is.
yes please translate some things for us kammo :) because when my google translator translates it, everything is out of its original order.

There is only one Dante and he's in DMC 1, 2,3 and 4. He's not in DmC. That's Donte. Capcom said it themself "DmC is a parallel universe to DMC". The only thing that backs up the character in DmC as Dante is the rights to the game. And it means little to us fans because we know who the real Dante is.

That is why in Viewtful Joe you see real Dante
That is why in Marvel vs Capcom 3 You see real Dante and Vergil

The person who created the character Dante have said that Dante is not a smoker as well. The story of DMC says that Dante has white hair from birth.

So DmC "Donte" is not Dante.

No, his name is Dante. Didn't you watch the first trailer?
It may not be the same Dante, but his name is Dante none the less. Several people/characters can share the same name, you know. There's not just one man in the world called Thomas.
So no, his name is not Donte, no matter how hard you try to convince anyone otherwise. It's Dante.

Alright. Here's so much talk about DmC Dante all of a sudden, so I translated the part "Dante" first (let's see can I finish the whole text tonight...). Here:

Dante

Half-angel, half-demon --Protagonist Dante--

Immature young man freely manipulating long sword "Rebellion" and twin pistols "Ebony & Ivory" to hunt demons. The reborn Dante who brings about the atmosphere of "hardboiled".

All of the pictures are under development.

thank you so much kammo! :) that makes so much more sense to me now, very much appreciated! :)

Just want to say that the reason there won't be DmC for pc is because very few people would actually buy the game. They would download it.

In Ninjatheory forums they are asking for PC of game. (i registered with username "NT Hypocrites" - my account was never activated by them lol ).

Here's more (I hope it's correct; I'm too lazy to check it through with strict eye... haha). I chose the "Stylish Action" part next, because it described new things regarding controlling Dante. Here:

Stylish Action

Evolving stylish action!
Speed stressing "Angel powers".

Chop up enemies with scythe-like sharp blade. In angel power there's overflowing sensation of speed while handling weapon. In addition, there're various abilities to be executed, like the weapon transforming in order to grip obstacles and move closer in.

Exceptionally heavy-feeling "Demon powers".

Crush enemies with heavy attacks from an axe-like weapon. Furthermore, with demon powers weapon can change also into "wire form" with which to grip enemies and pull them towards yourself.

Release the power sleeping inside Dante "Devil Trigger".

In addition, one of DmC's keywords is aerial battle. There exists a power to support the air battling; "Devil Trigger". With sword Dante pierces the surrounding enemies flying them high in the air... and also, Dante's outward appearance closely resembles the one seen up till now in the series; don't let the change into a form with silver hair and deep crimson coat slip past you.

:D No biggie, I'm glad if I can be of some help (normally it's me asking around and being clueless xD). The fact that the grappling device has different ways to be used in different stances was new to me; I somehow thought with simplicity that Dante would have an access to use it fully in all modes, haha!

yeah i think there's gonna be alot of different things you will be able to do with the wire by the way they are talking. :)

I checked at the "Limbo" section, and to skip the first part (it's just stating the obvious; Limbo is connecting place of heaven and hell, mixing of modern architecture and neo-gothic style etc.), the rest of the text is as follows:

To find demons under the cover of the real world, the town transformers into Limbo, dragging Dante in.
Dante, hal-angel, half-demon, is constantly targeted.
Buildings and ground are moving --- run through crumbling, real time shape-shifting stages! Undulating ground, deforming buildings... they have the intent to kill Dante.

now THAT'S what i wanna see ninja theory and capcom! real time stage transforming! :)

It's funny, that "don't f*ck with a god", as they would've gotten the message through with a mere "don't mess with a god" (but not that I care much for it, either way is fine)... and especially since the Japanese subtitles stated "Don't look down on a god".

I like the song that plays on the background, and when I listened to the trailer without looking at the video, I can say that for some reason I really like the voice effects going on there --- the bangs, whips, steps and so on, they sounded nice to me even without pictures attached to them. And Dante's voice sounds good.
Also, when Dante goes Devil Trigger, I like the "ghastly" voice-world that takes place till the DT ends. Do you guys think the sounds and voices are good so far?

i think the sound effects are great. Alot of people are complaining though, about how it has a heavy "clang" sound when Rebellion connects to an enemy, but i think the sounds will change depending on the enemy. I mean i seen the concept art of the sleek robot/demon thing, and its covered in armor, so i would believe the sound would be closely to the sound of metal hitting metal. The gun fire, at first, was really generic, but its come around.
Dante's voice sounds just fine. Already he has more lines than dmc2!
The music seems like its going to have a wide range of bands. And i'm pretty much content with it as well

PS F' bombs in video games seem to stand out a lot more than movies do. Partly because its an animated character but im glad to see the rating is going to be a very "m" rated game.
