Nah, I don't want to kick you in the balls if you had any.
Besides you got months of feeling uncomfortable, backache, looking knackered, boobs hurting, peeing in your pants at the most inconvenient times (well I guess the baby thinks your bladder looks like a nice comfy pillow), getting your insides kicked around, high blood pressure, piles and other stuff. Oh of course then you got the end to look forwards to: day or two of labour pains that make you feel like your insides are being ripped out ("damn it! Keep pumping those drugs into me doc!!")
The high-risks are quite low too and death is about a 2% chance? If you can get thorugh that you can get through anything.
Have a nice day!
Ah, but you see, at the end of all that there is a major reward waiting that words can't describe. What do you get after a 3-7 day period of hellish pain? Nada! Relief. For another two or three weeks and then it starts all over again.
And I'm not going to have labour pains. That's why in my earlier post I said gas cramps after major abdominal surgery. You seem to know a lot about pregnancy and birth so I'll let you figure out what that implies.
And yes, you're right. If you can get through the discomforts of pregnancy and birth, you can get through anything. That-time-of-the-month cramps are hardly noticable after you've had a baby
That, and you get to be on 'holiday' for about 6 weeks after the birth because you'll be sleeping and eating and...well, relaxing while everybody else does everything for you. ^_^ Oooh, ooooh, AND if you BF your cycle doesn't kick in again for up to 6 months after the birth. So it's not just nine months of discomfort, there's a few months of paradise after that.
Back on topic: leg cramps are pretty bad too. And when your toes cramp up from the cold. Ouch!!!
