Drekavac strategies

Hi all,

Just need some tips on fighting this little fricking demon.
Do state any weaknesses or fighting strategy to take note of.

Maybe some quick annihilating moves or combos.

From a distance, use Arbiter's Flush. He will parry the move and you'll want to parry the axe as it comes back to you so that it'll hit him for real.

You can also parry him when he teleports towards you. If you have bad timing or aim, I found Eryx (normal punch) to be the most useful in parrying him.

When he's stunned, go to town with him. Usually I do a double Eryx punch, uppercut, air Eryx slam and as he bounces up, end with an Arbiter axe throw.

You can use Devil Trigger to make the fight end faster.

lol, why do people hate this enemy? Didn't seem annoying to me. Then again, I only fought Dreamrunners.

Well it uses a move that looks similiar to a jc, but it really isn't. He interrupts you in an air-combo performed on him, counters you and smacks your ass to the floor.

I've found the only way to beat him on DMD to be just circling him and pinning him down with Kablooey. If he uses his teleport, parry him, it's really easy to do. Once you parried and he's stunned unload your combos on him: Eryx ist fast enough and does decent damage, but I prefer using Rebellion. No reason for that really.
When he is no longer stunned, detonate the set Kablooey-Darts and hit him again, he will be stunned for another second or two, so you can still climb the style-meter by at least one rank.

Note: Aquila and Osiris are practically useless against Drekavac and Dreamrunner, as are Ebony, Ivory and the Revenant.

Another hilarious situation was when i was using aquila, and was hitting shooting out those projectiles. Drekvavacs countered it immediately, and i got killed my own weapon....

Demon gab(after you dodge/parry) and kick 'em off the cliff.

Worst enemies in the game by far.

-i used the aquila ultimate charge move where it glows blu-ish purple(releasing it the second it charges up fully does this)
-drekavac parried it into my direction when i jumped
-i got caught in it and drekavac used his counter air slice move over about twenty times and stayed in the air with me for the duration of the aquila's powered up roundtrip, took down ****loads of health

I find Drekavac/Dreamrunner fights fun 1v1..but not fun 1v2..but gladly not 1v3. sheesh.
Ebony and Ivory shoot, Demon pull, demon pull again, mash mash.
He teleports, demon dodge, demon pull, mash mash. That's all I got, good luck.
DOWNFALL ISN'T THE ONLY ONE THAT LIKES STUFF.

I find that shooting with a charged shotgun bullet after you dodge their teleport attack to stun them and beating them with Arbiter or Rebellion really works well. I can pretty much kill them without getting hit with this strategy. Also demon dodge helps to end it quicker and DT if your fighting them plus a witch and a butcher or any crazy situation like that.

If there's two of them, I roll around dodging like a nutter until the second one pops out of the portal, then I smack it with roundtrip if I'm far away and then move in with rebellion if I can.
