Been playing Oblivion remaster to past the time but the medieval ecstatic keeps making me think about Dark Ages <:’(
You could always play witchfire if you have a pc or gaming laptop, not quite doom but is a medieval gothic style shooter.
Fair enough, lots of other games out there to play instead while u wait then.

Metal eden is a scifi first person shooter coming in may before doom.
No doom is owned by microsoft and xbox, the new trailer was to remind sony fans it is coming as xbox has been advertising it a lot and it will be day one on gamepass on console and pc.
Plus xbox gets the controllers and console wrap. Some playstation players also may not know it will be on playstation too since it has not got much advertising om there. Xbox has the marketing rights, and has had it at their events.
It is exclusive on gamepass, but is multiplatform in terms of coming out on xbox and plaustation and pc and likely switch 2.

Ya it was just id software reminding playstation fans about the game, since it is being marketed much more on xbox and they want as big of a launch as possible.
If the switch 2 port was ready, they most likely would do a trailer or overview for that too.

Well i have the collectors edition for the 13th, but also the premium edition digital copy so ya will have it the 13th and full release is the 15th
