Don't Watch This!!!!!!!!!! (SPOILERS)

I couldn't get past the sexuality in Bayonetta. I tried three different times to get into the game, but...narp. Can't do it. I don't see how people can think Bayonetta is such a strong female character when everything she does is immediately undercut by her doing something overtly sexual :S
 
I gotta admit that is a weird rule about not showing nipples. On the other hand it probabpy saved us some trauma in this DmC scene. :P
 
^Thankfully... didn't save us from Mundus 'sex face' though :lol:

That face he pulled creeped me out at first, but then I paused the video and it looked like he was constipated.:lol:

Some of that hentai stuff is really messed up. At least we won't be seeing tentacles in DmC. *fingers crossed*

Well, it could be worse, there could be p*nis fences like in Dante's Inferno... or nipples that threw out babies...wow, that game was mess up...
 
That was Cleopatra, right? That part of the game was....I have no words for it. Even the way Dante killed her at the end looked like he was having sex with her until the camer pulled back.

As for that kind of stuff happening in DmC; if Lilith is a boss, we don't know what she can do. But there is a scene in the motion capture diary showing as she is about to confort Dante, it looks like she's puking black goo. Malice maybe?

Why do we have to have a sex scene for Mundus? I think it's not necessary.
IDK what NT are thinking , do they think if they make sex scenes the game would be cooler than ever???
So far i didn't see something cool as japanese coolness in this game , i think NT think if they include sex scenes and swearing it would be cool , even the sex scene is gross :(

It's not suppose to look cool. It's suppose to make you disgusted and make you sick because they're bad guys.
 
It's like there's an unwritten rule that evil character sex is always icky or just plain disturbing. I guess it reflects their personalities or something....idk.

I saw complaints about the game being explicit and this being one of its points. Yet again it was actually MENT to be a certain way and show how disgusting this female character was.

That's because she's a parody of that stereotype, she's not just some random chick whose voluptuous body is used for fanservice in the game and that's the only reason she exists for, she's self aware and she enjoys it. I'm very attracted to her confidence, she's like "yes I'm hot and I like sex, deal with it". She being oversexualised is not just a reflection of the way this media treats women, but part of her personality. Bayonetta is very popular among gays, and that says a lot in this industry where every character is designed for the hetero male, the guys are designed as "the men they want to be", and the girls "the women they want to sleep with".

And the game's ****ing amazing, it's honestly the best game in the genre imo, I'll buy a WiiU just for Bayo 2 and w101, Platinum can have all my money.

That's all fine and dandy, but it really didn't have the same effect on me. Some parodies aren't nearly as clever or don't work nearly as well as people want them to. Maybe it's my romantic ideals of sex that make me intolerant to overt sexualization of any kind, who knows, but I just don't see Bayonetta's character as one I can take at all seriously (for what "serious" is worth in that game) because of how she uses it. Plus, I hate pretty much ever part of her design except for her glasses and having four pistols.

Buy Bayonetta isn't suppose to be taken seriously. It's a fun action game filled with things the normal horny Japanese otaku male would masturbate over. Then again, playing Bayonetta with one had would be difficult.:troll:
 
Well, even then, I couldn't take it as that whole parody business. I don't need nor want a sexual fanservice parody in an action game :/
