One of the things I enjoy most about characters, is when they have troubles or features I can relate to.
New Dante so far seems to not have this, but I was just wondering. Relating to a character means they are going through or have gone through something similiar to a situation you can recall going through. Usually the companies will just make it so that the character had a horrible life so that the gamer feels sympathy for them rather than relates to them, that is the easy (and lame) way out if you ask me. The first character I ever related to, was completely by accident
According to Valve he had older brothers who picked on him, toughening him up and while his upper body strength isn't the best, he is by far the fastest.
