Who cares who "started" it or who's the one angry? You want to somehow prove you're better than them? Don't drop down to their level and fight fire with fire. If you're going to support DmC, be rational and civil, not hostile and bashful like the "haters".

I'm sorry, but you expect ME to be civil with the antis after what happened with them sending death threats to the company, making a fake ending, and trying to boycott the game? IMO, that's taking it too far and I just couldn't let that slide, so no I won't be civil if they're gonna keep this up!

You're missing the point. Some jokes are ok, some aren't.

When I first looked at this thread, I personally thought the whole "conspiracy theory" about Limbo and 4chan was too much. And it basically gave people another way to label the "haters".
Not to mention that it's that sole reason why the anti group hate the pro side of DmC more. Because they often receive labels just because they don't particularly like this game.

And as you said, some of the people on the anti side are intolerable. Not all.

Lastly, the joke that I made was merely a reference to what TWOxACROSS said.
I felt it was necessary since it was relevant to what people were talking about. Not a conspiracy theory.

Look man, i don't really like playing "Quoting : the game" but i think you're getting a little bit full of yourself here. You don't get to decide what jokes are ok and what aren't. That's why we have mods and i might be wrong but i don't think you are one of them. Plus the whole "yeah that's why the antis hate the pros..." is getting old. I mean at the end of the day who cares if they hate people who like the game? it sure dooesn't make me lose sleep at night. I've been on most of these other sites and when they talk about this place they usually go far beyond a simple joke. Maybe not all of them yeah, but most of them.

Frankly, i don't know where you got the whole "conspiracy theory" thing because in my opinion, it was pretty obvious that the guy was joking whereas the people who talk about reviews being paid are usually dead serious so maybe you should talk to them about chilling out on the conspiracy stuff.

You didn't like the joke and that's ok but maybe you should've just said so and move on like others did instead of trying to "teach us some manners". This is one of the rare places where people who like the game can be at ease so this kind of things is bound to happen whether you like it or not. Also i don't get why you and a few others feel the need to defend the so called antis as if they were some kind of inoffensive people. They sure showed during the past two years that they were far from being that.

At this point his comment received a good amount of thumbs down while people thumbed up my comment. So in order to save his humiliation, he decides to respond to me on via personal messages, in which he dodges everything I say only to exclaim that DmC is better.

As of now, I'm still waiting for him to respond back to me, showing what comment I said that was "bullshit" and why it was such. He wasn't backing up his claims at all and he was just mouthing on about how good DmC is compared to DMC4 when he hasn't played the full game.

The one doing the teasing can say it was all a joke, but it's not to the one that it's all being directed at. If you're against jokes being directed at one person or group, you might as well be against them all. What's innocent and meaningless to one person is always going to offend someone else. So, what's the difference? If you're offended by the joke, okay. I'm sure the anti-DmC group has made some pretty bad ones about those of us who support it. Calling us sheeple, for example. The only difference is this isn't being shoved in their faces.

No it ain't really a mistake if you snap like that. Listen...I'm not the person who gets mad over little stuff cuz life's too short, but once you've crossed the line, that's when I get mad, so no, it's not a mistake to snap because you've been calm for too long, you gotta express your feelings one day. If someones bashes you or something you like, YOU BASH THEM THE F**K BACK, PERIOD!! Hell I'm mad already because the antis are really taking this too far and some of them don't know what the hell they are talking about.

I'm not offended by the joke at all. But it was just one thing that I wanted to point out. I'm not trying to "moderate" forums, nor do I want to. It was just one thing that I wanted to say which got out of hand.

I don't like insulting someone just because they insulted me. I don't want to be the same as they are and I want to show that I'm stronger than that and I don't need to insult people to get my points across. It's just not right imo.

Yeah, like Dante Redgrave said, I think it's best to call me a non-fan. Better yet, a neutral. There are certain aspects that intrigue me with this game, like the story for example.

It's like that one really ****ty comic someone drew of classic Dante writing a letter, kicking it into a mailbox, launching the mailbox into the air and into a portal. Mailbox comes out of the portal explodes, and the letter lands into DmC Dante's hands, he reads it, and it says exactly what's written on the wall - "UR A FAGET."

I wish I could find it >_<

Apparently it's a modified version of one that originally had Vergil in DmC Dante's place, haha.
