Do You think there will be any styles if any at all?

I thought the styles were good, but I'd rather have had them in DMC 3 form. DMC 4's style-switch thing was overwhelming sometimes. I felt invincible playing DMC 3 with nothing but a Level 3 Trickster set. But having to switch from Trickster to SwordMaster to GunSlinger...sure it adds depth, but it did make things a lot more complicated.

I think people are missing the point of replacing styles with the system NT created which gives the advantage of having access to all moves and weapons at the touch of a button. I think it's the terminology that has some on the fence- The word 'style'.
This will be the first truly free flowing on-the-fly single-action selection system in an action game. Something not even Bayonetta achieved. Also, if true, this now disproves the skeptical assertion that NT has not added anything progressive to the DMC series that improves function or game play.

My thoughts exactly, with styles it was just ONE button, nothing more, but because it's a "style" it was easy to forgive, I mean you could do way more different combos if it would have been the orthodox fast attack + power attack and all the combinations that come from those, instead of raping the triangle: God of War and Castlevania: Lords of Shadow are the prime examples of this...
This might be the best thing since DMC3 that has happened to DMC series.
Anything that gives more attack combinations and variations is good for DMC.

Thank you! Finally, someone gets it!

Two different combo systems... Dmc has a single button time based attack layout with the second button reserved for the special style based move you have equipped at the time. Moving the control stick while locked on produces different attacks as well. Ninja gaiden has two attack buttons: One for heavy attacks one for light attacks. Different combinations of these produce different effects. Moving or spinning the control stick while attacking in air or on the ground depending on your opponents position and physical state produces different effects as well. Throwing stars cancels combos.

DMC relies on very technical combos. Ninja Gaiden combo vids are more spontaneous and varied. Also, take note on how mobile Ryu is as he darts around the arenas. My dream game would combine the best of both of these.
