Do you think Capcom will pull a "Raiden" with Nero

I can see it now. Dante fights a demon during a cutscene, then suddenly a sword slash cuts the demon in half. We think its vergil them bam, Nero is a total badass like his father and is now the silent type simlar to what they did with Raiden in MGS4/MGSR. I just have some feeling that this will happen...

well the biggest criticisms with both Raiden and Nero mostly stem from there love interests
"Raiden bickering with rose for 20 mins when you just want to save the game"
"Nero getting all emotional when ever Kyrie is in danger"

with Raiden they reduced his contact with his love interest
and then Raiden goes all RULES OF NATURE and now everyone thinks he's a BadAss

if they were to do the same thing with Kyrie i can imagine the same thing could happen to Nero

I think people would rather just play as Vergil rather than see Nero become the next Vergil but looking at how they approach Raiden in MGS4 would be a good idea.

Making Nero a character people want to play as versus being stuck to play as him is a step forward. Having him undergo a darker direction could be fun but I rather he become a hand to hand specialist or someone more demonic/savage would be better than a ninja/samurai take.

How do you make Nero like that without making him feel like a replacement for a previous character?

I'd always like Nero to further on in terms of development but I think they need to figure out a way to differentiate him and give him his own direction and niche. I got into the series with DMC4 and I have a bit of an attachment to the guy.

I always kind of wanted him to just have his devil bringer slowly spread throughout his body. Maybe make his Left arm a DB as well. That would clash with the idea of his left arm holding yamato's sheathe thing they have with him.

I figure it would all depend on how much they know about their relation between each other. I figure they'd try to stay out of each other's hair if they don't know and sometimes rub against each other the wrong way in a fight (Nero shooting at an enemy before vergil could hit it with a summoned sword, Vergil pulling a judgement cut on a an enemy Nero was about to snatch towards). I think Vergil would be very strict on Nero and constantly try to test him out if he knew the relationship, a little dissaproving of his relationship with a human, but well meaning in his own way. Nero would be angry and basically trying to reject it overall if he knew, but slightly curious about his heritage.

That would be cool. Have Nero turn into a demon and go on a rampage. and making Dante try to help him but fail. and have Kyrie pray from him then Creado's spirit appears and dive into Nero and fight to free Nero from the demons control.

I doubt Capcom will turn Nero into a Cyborg Ninja, haha.

But would Nero have a reason to get involved with demons outside Fortuna? And I really don't see Nero as becoming the stoic type without some terrible tragedy happening to him. Plus I want him to be his own character, not carbon copy of Vergil or Dante.
