DMC4 Dante battle vs DmC boss battle.(SPOILER)

The more a boss is similar to my own character the better, this fight did not do this for me.
Also I feel it was underwhelming, the space during the fight wasn't very large, and even then the entire area was never used when I fought him. DMC3 Vergil fights are a brilliant example of the space being used well, even on normal you'll find yourself zipping across the room to dodge and keep up with Vergil.

vergil was anything but honorable in dmc3
-destroyed at least five blocks of a city killing god knows how many unsuspecting people
-used a sneak attack on arkam after insulting him
-attacked blind demon and then used his corpse as a weapon test
seriously, carrying a katana doesn't make you some honorable swordsman
Well in my opinion there is no chance at all Vergil did not expect Arkham to turn on him. Thats why he attacked him.
And Beowulf attacked him because he thought Vergil was Dante.Vergil just defended himself.
Vergil could have slashed Lady down at any given moment with ease. He does not.
And then on to DMC1 when Vergil is portraying Nelo Angelo(A man with guts and Honor!.. I like that!)

Not saying he has a TON of honor but WAY more than ---Slight DmC spoiler ahead--- New Virgil shooting a pregnant women in the stomach and then the head.

Oh come on, let's not start that again, it was a demon carrying the DmC equivalent of the anti-christ.
The real problem of Vergil in this DmC is how he was that much weaker than Dante.

I wont go any further into it but it made him my least favorite character in the entire reboot.
I do feel his fighting abilities should have been better. They made him too much of a tech guy in this game.

Vergil does look a lot easier in DmC then in DMC3. When I fought Vergil in DMC3 for the first time, I was having a b*tch of a time trying to beat him on the first fight. The second was easier for some reason, but I don't know why. 3rd was the mother of all hard fights with Vergil for me. I kept rage quiting every time. After awhile though, I finally paid attention to his move set and boom, I can beat any Vergil battle with the smallest of ease.

With DmC, it looks as hard as the first fight with Vergil, so I might not have a problem with it. However, what will trip me up if I can get the game to fight him would be the no lock on. Because he'll teleport and I may not see him coming for one of his attacks and I'll end up running around a bit to find him and strike. Does the camera automatically target at Vergil, cause if not, that's gonna be a bit of a challenge.

I personally never found any of the Vergil fights in DMC3 hard at all, his moves were very easy to read and avoid just like this reboot Vergil. I did enjoy them more however mainly because of the visual aspects and the build up to those fights making them more epic.

I knew from the moment Vergil was revealed in this reboot months ago that he would likely be the final boss but I think the game does not do a good job of building the tension between Dante and Vergil. It's excellent at slowly revealing Vergil to be this twisted, cold individual with more layers of depth than the power hungry DMC3 Vergil bu.

-he still used a sneak attack and didn't expect that at all, if anything, he was planning to kill him along time ago, when he says hmmm and arkam asks what's wrong
-attacking a dead body is basically teabagging a corpse
-lady somehow blocking yamato with a gun is a plothole man
vergil is only honorable in dmc1, and they portrayed him completely differently in dmc3

camera automatically targets vergil don't worry, (he's a bitch on DMD mode the first time)

Dante vs Vergil in DmC was cool but it is an easy fight against Vergil in DMC 3, the whole atmosphere was better because Vergil and Dante had fought many times during the game and the rivalry was better built
