My fellow writers, as fans, I feel we can write a decent DmC2 Script IF we work together.

So, this post will be to create said script, brainstorming ideas, refining it until we have the best story we can make.

I think since main universe DMC is a deconstruction/parody of anime clichés, we should make DmC2 a parody/reconstruction (there's already a half billion deconstructions) of Western clichés.

To continue, since the last game focused on his strength and fighting skills (Demon powers) This one should cover his speed, healing and durability (angel powers)

The enemies would be Angels and demons allied with the Seven Aechangels.

continue, got any plot? and how would we cover speed, healing and durability? by having the protagonist tested physically to the limit by much stronger enemies?

Yes.

The Angels begin their assault on Earth, to wipe out the demons that inhabit it AND the humans that live therein

The First mission sees Dante having to rescue a group of demon slayers from an Angel that moves at the speed of Lightning, Barachiel the first Archangel. He arrives just as Barachiel fires a bolt of lightning at a female demon hunter and manages to shield her from the blast, Crossing the room and blocking the bolt with his body.

The Angel, Barachiel calls Dante the "Abomination of Eva" and summons minions to attack Dante, Thus starting level 1.

During this level, the Hunter you saved will also fight the minions with her modified M4 with bayonet and grenade launcher attachment.

At the end of the level, Dante fights Barachiel, and the shocking twist happens.

He gets run through with his own sword, Rebellion, in a final "Screw You" by the dying Archangel.

This is a critical moment.

Level 2 will be in "Rebellion's world"

Dante fights through the world, fighting enemies with Rebellion, Arbiter and Osiris. Then, it happens.

We meet Rebellion's manifestation form, which looks like 201o Dante without the bruises.

He calls out Dante for his switch from "Rebel" to "Guardian" and they fight.

AND DANTE LOSES!!!!!!

Dante awakes in the church where he fought Barachiel, with only the surviving demon hunter and the sword the Archangel had left when he died. Dante takes this new sword to replace his missing Rebellion, naming the Demon form Alastor, the human form Vendetta, and the Angel form Veritas. He and the surviving demon hunter, a woman known only as Lady, head back to Dante's mansion

I wouldnt say DMC was a parody/deconstruction of anime cliches since the writing feels too earnest rather than tongue in cheek .
