So, the games series turns 23 today. Time flies.

Would've been a good time to update on the netflix show but I guess it's the waiting game again...

Man, it feels like yesterday that I bought a copy of DMC1, thinking it was Gungrave that I saw an advertisement for on television and thought was the coolest thing ever.

Not a bad thing in retrospect as I grew to love the DMC series as well.

my intro to DMC was the ending of 3.

it hit at the right time in my shonen battle manga fandom. Plus Dante was closer to the antiheroes i was getting into.

I remember the release well, i cut lawns and worked as a farm hand that year as a way to buy a ps2 and dmc1. I was 14 when it came out, and it felt next level having come from the ps1 and nintendo 64.
