Man, it feels like yesterday that I bought a copy of DMC1, thinking it was Gungrave that I saw an advertisement for on television and thought was the coolest thing ever.
Not a bad thing in retrospect as I grew to love the DMC series as well.
I remember the release well, i cut lawns and worked as a farm hand that year as a way to buy a ps2 and dmc1. I was 14 when it came out, and it felt next level having come from the ps1 and nintendo 64.
