DmC will be at PAX 2012

I hope its the Bob Barbas fight and not a new boss since i dont wanna know the trick to killing all the bosses before i even get play the game.

Hey I saw your avatar. Thought I should tell you they've revealed Raiden for PS all stars.

Known that As I played it actually on beta version on mine new PS+ account what I gotten recently. Sorry for small offtopic

I hope its the Bob Barbas fight and not a new boss since i dont wanna know the trick to killing all the bosses before i even get play the game.

Its only 3 out of like how many bosses....I doubt they will spoil the entire game and I have this feeling there is more to the Poison boss fight than that & plus as long as they don't go in depth like they did the Poison boss fight (showing off the counter/parrying system and how the demon grapple affects the battle) and just do what they did with Bob fight at Gamescon just show off only 1 health bar & etc.....I just hope there is a lot of bosses and not any of that boss battle only mission (unless if its the final boss or something).

I'll list all the missions announced and indicate if there is a boss in them to show how many bosses there could be. This is only an educated guess and I'm using the standard of 20 missions.

Mission 1-Tutorial (Where Dante meets Kat and is recruited)
Mission 2-??? (Here Dante meets Vergil I assume and starts working for him)
Mission 3-??? (Somewhere between these 3 missions they can fit in like 2 boss fights and one of them be that....)
Mission 4-??? (gorilla hunter demon at the pier/carnival shown in the Captivate trailer)
Mission 5-???(The guy who was right about Vergil, Lilith and other stuff did mentioned a giant spider mini boss at church)
Mission 6-Boss(Poison)
Mission 7-Boss(Bob Barbas)
Mission 8-???(This mission could be where Kat gets kidnapped)
Mission 9-??? (Most preferably mission 9 or 10 is the Devil Dalliance mission and Lilith is most likely a boss here)
Mission 10-??? (But it could be mission 10 if it is in the middle of the game so says Alex Jones)
Mission 11 to 16-???(4-5 bosses can fit in here)
Mission 17-???(Unknown)
Mission 18-I'm guessing re-fight all the bosses
Mission 19-Boss(probably Mundus)
Mission 20-The Final Boss Fight

I'm just guessing. So like 12ish bosses.

I had a feeling. But I just want to see thee boss battle with Bob Barbas, gameplay, and the shotgun.

You only spoil something if you reveal too much about it....the part that matters most is the amount of content within the game (missions, areas, bosses, and length). Thus far they barely revealed much outside the gameplay mechanics but a game can only go so much based on the gameplay mechanics most people are looking for quantity over quality or a perfect balance of both but you can't really tell the quality of something just by looking it...unless in certain situations but you can assume the amount of content based on how much they show you...when it comes to the boss department and weapon department....what they've shown is very weak...only 2 bosses that don't really look that challenging...maybe not Poison...6 weapons (1 that looks like sh*t, one REALLY lacking in the combo/moveset department and being very limited, the other are guns, nothing revealed on the Shotgun...but its obvious, and the only quality weapons that they showed thus far is Osiris and Rebellion).

Ultimately everything they revealed about this DmC is expected for a Devil May Cry game....I was wanting more...how can this be DMCs spiritual successor if its pretty much stuff we expect or seen before...if this is the next entry to the series we want to see some new stuff or new innovative ideas DMC never tried before. Hell even a freakin Boss Battle Mode...anything it doesn't have to be a breakthrough and never before seen gameplay mechanic but something DmC has but DMC doesn't have.

I mean past DMC games even in their early trailers showed off stuff new to the franchise.

DMC2-stylish acrobatics
DMC3-pretty obvious
DMC4-Nero

The whole point of this game is to be better than DMC not just like it but in its own way.

Who said this was part of the original DMC? You can't say that this new DMC has to be better then the last because this isn't a DMC that's part of the original 4, this one is in it's own leage, and there for has nothing to have to be surpassing of. Personally I'm fine with what's shown because again, I don't want to be spoiled. I want to actually play the game to see the quantity of it, not see all of the quantity in gameplay trailers and story trailers. Yeah, a little bit of a question in the trailers is good, but don't give off everything.

And personally, I think this game has potential to be better then the past DMC series, but is stuck in DMC's bubble of expectations and can't really branch to far from the original. It can be better, but NT has to make it as close to the original gameplay wise and story element wise. One thing that made the old DMC feel boring to me was the fact that there have only been three DMC games that changed the style.

DMC1-the beginner and bringer of the DMC style.
DMC2-world freedom and acrobatic freedom as well
DMC3-Better gameplay, but no acrobatic freedom. A step back in my opinion.
DMC4-Pretty much all the DMC games styles mixed in one except that free world feel that DMC2 had.

1 2 and 3 gave some contribution, but 4 just mixed 1 and 3 together and gave Dante all his styles while Nero hardly had squat.

as I've said before;

I wouldn't mind seeing Dante kick some more of Bill O'Reilly's ass.

.... I mean Bob... :troll:

But none the less, I doubt anything "big" will be presented at PAX this year from DmC.
As long as Final Fantasy Verses XIII is shown to be alive at PAX (which it's rumored to be) I'll be happy.

Hey Bill O'reilly is an idiot, but he has done the world good, take this interview for example

Its part of the original, just in another timeline, why...it still has the name Devil May Cry so it must carry its expectations. The Tomb Raider reboot Lara Croft is completely different from its predecessor Tomb Raider because Tomb Raider is different from Lara Croft because TR is about raiding tombs and looking for treasure while Lara Croft is about survival and a bit exploration but is still within the same type of genre. I put MGS & MGR on different expectations for they're 2 different games with different type of genre so the name is slightly different since the game is in same universe.

DmC is still Devil May Cry so I still put it on the same calibur as Devil May Cry...it may not be titled DMC5 but its the fifth DMC game so it must be treated as a DMC5. Bayonetta is a new IP but it has literally 100% of DMCs gameplay features and takes the extra mile to be better than all DMC games....it pains me to say this but though Bayonetta seems like a ripped DMC with a female protagonist it is pretty much an advancement of DMC which is what DmC must aims to be.

DmC is still DMC...why??? Its the same title, with the same type of genre, and the same idea (destroying demons with stylish, fluid, and fast combat) but this time its more air combat heavy and suited more for casual gamers. DmC still has its own uniqueness from DMC such as its different platforming method.

They could show the Hunter Demon boss.

I still want to know why they keep showing stages from HALF of the game, instead of shwoing the first stages, lol. The carnival pier is the first mission and it has a boss. Hopefully, they'll show it.

As for bosses, there won't be a lot of them in the game, I believe.
