DmC weapons

i'm thinking that as you go throughout the game you will kill angel bosses therefore obtaining angel arms and when you kill demon bosses you obtain devil arms.

So.
I'm thinking Osiris and Arbiter both come from that Hunter Demon we saw in the Captivate trailer.

My only hunch here is that he used a grappling hook to destroy Dante's house.
But at the same time, why would an Angel and a Demon weapon come from a single demon?
We may have to wait and see.

Maybe you don't get both of them at the same time? Maybe you won't need the Osiris that early in the game.

Im guessing Osiris is the demonic weapon, considering Osiris is the Egyptian God of the Dead.......

osiris is the scythe if i correct. Also i tried googling it as well, yesterday, but found the god of the dead to be more of a dead end rather then anything.

Well...Osiris did die in the mythology........but was resurrected by isis later.......

Nope, Osiris is the Angelic Scythe, the Demonic Axe is Arbiter, and I think it really fits well, Arbiter is such a badass name.

Wow... thats contridicting itself.....Osiris is the god of the dead, but the weapon is angelic? well, I guess Osiris isnt as evil as Seth, the god of violence and hate......

Yeah, they have already set in stone that Osiris is an angel weapon and Arbiter is a demon. Tameen clearly explained this along with how Osiris is a "crowd control" type of weapon as it has long reach but little damage, while Arbiter is slow but packs a heavy blow. He also mentioned how you get these weapons later in the game.

Back to the hunter demon and the hook comment, if the demon uses a hook then I can only assume that the weapon you get from him is the whip/hook thing you use to get up close to enemies. Tameen said the only weapons you start out with are Rebellion and E&I, the whip seems like a separate weapon from these (although it looks like it is Rebellion morphing).

Osiris and Arbiter might be from other bosses who... probably have the same name as the weapons. So I wouldn't be surprised if we were to see some Egyptian demon thing calling himself Osiris.

Dont see that happening. i mean youll defo get a new weapon after killing a boss. buut i cant see a boss becoming an angel weapon. perhaps some are atrifacts you you take from bosses. for example the chain from the one in the trailer

Could be. Or maybe the demon weapons are the ones you get from bosses while the angel weapons you get by doing some puzzle (like getting an artifact). That could explain how you might be able to get two weapons in just one level. But that would add up quite fast so I'm hoping that is not the case or else we might have too many weapons in the game (too confusing).

depends on how frequent puzzles are i suppose. or it could be you pull them from limbo, like in that scene in limbo where his like in the sky on floating platforms and cuts the chain. you know the one.

so since osiris and arbiter are completely different weapons does this mean they did away with rebellion morphing into other weapons?

Probably... but I thought that was supposed to be some sort of secret area, like the secret missions we have in past games but with an actual purpose behind doing them all (freeing that huge statue thing).

Who knows... we know he keeps Rebellion in his tattoo on his back but I dunno if Rebellion itself is the one who shapeshifts into the "other weapons" like Osiris and Arbiter or if they are actually complete separate weapons all together and he just puts it on his back along with Rebellion. The way Tameen explained it made it sound like it is the second one.

maybe, i actually prefer if each weapon is actually a seperate weapon instead of rebellion just having multiple forms. but yeah i think you're right since tameem said you obtain osiris and arbiter later in the game, and they don't automatically come with rebellion.

maybe it's possible that the tat stores rebellion. But rebellion in itself absorbs other devil arms, sort of like nero's DB.
