DMC: The Solid Devil (ACT 1: Brothers of Black Blood!)

[HQQR - Solid]

Felicia smirked then laughed a laugh that left solid feeling uncomfortable. "They are one in the same." she said coldly. "Solidus was known for creating remnants of himself for use in battle. Leigus, made from Solidus' own flesh and blood was so powerful in fact that he developed himself into his own entity." Solid looked at the blade rested on the wall, it was his father... in a sense. "So we are brother's but... his father is a piece of mine?" Solid said sounding a tad confused.

Tyther shook his head. "No, I think it's more likely that Solidus used Leigus as a false name. However, feel free to prove me wrong, either of you." He looked around for a moment, taking in the atmosphere, and then looked back at the two of them. "What does this all mean? Are we destined to fight again, or is it something more important? I'm sorry if I seem to be asking too much. I'm not exactly used to being treated by wolves."

 

[HQQR - Solid]

"I think Tyther's right... I mean there was a period when I was born you said, that he disappeared, and even if he made remnants I doubt that they could ever have children." Solid pointed out quickly. Solid stood up and took hold of his sword, it's eyes lighting up their blue color. "What do you require?" said the sword sounding as though awakened from a large sleep. "I need to clear my head... maybe i'll take on a job in town. Are you coming Tyther?" Solid said with a smile. "After all, we are 'brothers'." THe blades eyes stopped glowing, feeling no importance of being awake at the moment.

Tyther smiled. "I guess we both need to do something to clear our heads. Yeah. Let's go." He took out his sword, Alpha, and made a fencing gesture with it. "Surprised? I forged this sword myself. It's light as a feather, but only to me. To others it's like trying to lift a ton of bricks." He sheathed his sword. "So, what do you have in mind, "brother"?" He said with a smirk. He pulled his hood back on and stood by Solid's side.

 

[HQQR - Solid]

Solid said nothing, and walked from the room. He was obviously distraught from all of the sudden news. He needed time to think, time to plan. "Today we look for the man who has been following me. Although i'm sure he is aware of your presence by now as well." Solid said solemnly. "He is said to be powerful, though doubt he can defeat me." Solid smiled and his facial expression became a little proud and ****y. He after all was an egotist, which made him so arrogant he often underestimated his opponents.

Tyther cracked his neck and then his fingers. "Alright then. Let's go teach this guy a lesson, and start up this crazy party. What does he look like? I'm going to need to know at least that much."

 

[HQQR - Solid]

"Sadly I don't know. I don't even know if it's a male. They stay hidden, but on our journey here I could smell them the entire way." Solid said. He shrugged the kept walking. "I suppose if it is a woman, than she should be no problem for us, hm?" The young wolf scratched his head and kept moving, his sword kept readily strapped to his back. For Solid's slender appearance it looked as though he would have trouble carrying it, but of course he was a lot stronger than he looked. Perhaps, even stronger than he knew.

Tyther nodded his head. "True. If they try to kill us, they'll think twice if they try again. If they survive, that is. It's not smart to attack people who work as a team." His ears twitched a he heard a sound like shuffling rock. He lowered his voice so that only Solid could hear. "There are two people on top of a building not far from here. From the sound of their steps, I'd say one is female, the other is male. Stay alert."

 

[HQQR - Solid]

Solid nodded and kept walking, then shortly he smelled hunters. They smelled of faint demon blood, he could tell they had just recently made a kill. "Tyther, we are brothers but... I can handle this." Solid said forcefully. He heard the sound of gunshots and then felt a sharp pain in his head, a bullet had pierced him. All though asside from a slight bleeding mark on his head he was unaffected. The bullet had ricocheted from his head into a nearby window. "Now, I guess you now know why I and our father are called Solid." he laughed as the two hunters appeared from the shadows in front of them. They were amateurs by the looks of them, and obviously didn't know who they were dealing with.
