DmC: Secrets/Tips

I am new here but I found a cool way to kill the Dreamrunners.

Start charging Eryx (regular punch not launcher) and wait for the teleport. As soon as you see the portal open near you release Eryx for a parry that sends them flying. Follow with a stinger and whatever you want after that or a Drive.
That way is cool, but it's not nearly as effective as using Renevant.

Any tips for the first part of Mission 16 on DMD?

Go after Witch first and try not to get hit too much, then go after Dreamrunners?

Can't seem to find a good strategy that works everytime for this one. Don't get me wrong. I can beat it but not without nearly dying everytime.

I did it by taking out one dreamrunner while dodging witch attacks, then went for the wich by leading her away from the dreamrunner to focus on her, then the final dreamrunner.

Without the Devil Trigger, it's best to try and exploit the camera. I'm not sure if you know, but almost all enemies will become passive if they aren't within view. Dreamrunners are difficult since they always run up into view, but it still makes it slightly easier if you get the Witch into a corner and pound on her with Eryx's Showdown while moving the camera away from the Dreamrunners.

With the DT, you could just Angel Pull to the angel, and use Eryx's Showdown over and over again to pound her into the ground. This will kill her quickly, and it leaves you with the dreamrunners. If you have enough DT, you could even have time to kill one of the Dreamrunners as well... if not, just exploit the camera and try focusing on one of them at a time.

This is how I got passed it.

Oh yea almost forgot; if anyone's still curious about Payoff, it's timing is basically just before Dante reaches his opponent.

Eryx's Drop attack seems to get better from if you do it from a higher than average distance. At least from what I've seen, the impact radius is twice as large and sounds even louder on the crash.

Just a small thread bump.

I updated some of the info, I added the two other Rare Concept Arts, a way of stunning Tyrants, and a video of the Tyrant and Dreamrunner strategy.

Also, I played around with parrying with Stinger... I thought it looked badass.

I found not much of an easy, but a tricky way to finish of drekavec quickly, if you are near the ledge, shoot him so he starts blocking, demon pull and kick him out, and immediately throw Aquila at him. He is scripted to do a downward slash whenever he is hit in the air, and that way he will just fall down without teleporting, resulting in an easy kill. That's an ultimate tech trap, though it's tricky to pull of
