DmC Performance Capture Diaries--Part 3. See the actors who played Dante and Phineas

There are actually good demons, he says. I think Dante will learn how to be good in the end of the game.
And yes, they said it is a prequal. Cool. we might get DmC2

They also twist the truth, restrict natural behavior and hinder that which they dictate to be harmful to their fundamentalist ways. Until they think bending the rules will help them kill their enemies. Training Anakin just to use him as a band-aid tool to fix the force. Then, trying to do the same to his son brain washing him to fix the mess they made. "Darth Vader killed your father, so you must train for the time you encounter him thinking he and your dad are different people. That is, until HE tells you the truth." They are corrupt users... All of them. Palpatine was right.

Hey, I didn't say it was all on the up and up, every faith has its deep end. And to be fair, Luke was given a reason as to why Obi-Wan lied to him, because he wouldn't have been able to complete his training otherwise. And Anakin wasn't a "band-aid," he really did end up saving the galaxy - it just took him several decades and betraying his entire order to do so :p

Yeah, besides Anakin never was predicted to save the Jedi order, he was meant to "Bring balance to the force." Which is by blowing each side of the force off. He also was the avatar of the force as well. If something ****es him off, it's like violating the force itself. The order rather tried to manipulate him and failed to do so meaning great consequences.

Anakin did what he was destined to do, not what the Jedi wanted him to do, and certainly not the way they wanted him to do it. Things did not transpire according to their plans at all. They were still users and they paid the price for it. They got sacrificed and used by the force itself. Their outdated fundamentalist ways were flushed out along with the heavy handed totalitarianism of the sith and replaced with a new, peaceful, more balanced Jedi. The old Jedi solved every problem by whipping out their sabers. Luke mastered the way of success through peace and serenity by not killing his father or even drawing his sword on the emperor himself thereby trusting and allowing the will of the force to balance itself.

I didn't know this thread was about star wars!

Also I'm glad I can see Tim's thoughts!

I love how he's so in to this stuff and he really believes he's Dante. Just as Reuben Langdon did.:D

What are you talking about? Dante is in Limbo for most of the game because the demons pull him there, Kat appears as a ghost there because she's a psychic, and Dante appears like a ghost to Kat when he's in Limbo for the same reason. She's the only one who can see him when he's stuck in Limbo, and she uses magic-enhanced spraypaint to create graffiti glyphs that Dante can use as a gateway back to the real world.

Limbo is a parallel dimension that copies the current location's facade, but then Malice morphs it and sends out demons to kill Dante. How have you completely missed the entire point of Limbo...?
lmfao, I'm just mind f****ed with the whole Limbo and demons in DmC, Thanks bro for the explanation.

I can already tell I'm going to love everything about Phineas. Honestly, the only character who still makes me roll my eyes is Dante, but it's definitely not because of his voice actor, who is freaking adorable.

Also great to know that there'll be representation from (relatively) good, non-grotesque demons...I was worried the game would be nothing but Dante's hate-on against the whole species (except for his own relatives) until the end.

the should have DmC panal with the actors and just for fangirls screams Reuben and Tim meet each other and share stories on being dante

i agree with you dante needs to truly impress and to me his voice actor can come of as bad mostly in pasbr

I guess the "Kill the child." bit is a kind of demon logic that Phineas has.
The logic he has is very calculated to a almost cold point, but I think it's because of his species.
He is a good chap, but basically a demon. I think that is what they mean by "A demon who has a heart."

I think they should do a video with just Tim Phillips. Get more of his thoughts on Dante and the game. And just to hear him more.
