Agreed. People called Nine Inch Nails emo. But whenever Johnny Cash covered a song by them (a rather depressing one) nobody called Cash emo. It's disturbing. Its nice to seem some people agree with what i'm saying. Before if you wrote a song or listened to a song that had dark lyrics or self-aware lyrics people called it "deep" or "grunge" or what ever....now it's like "whoa...you're emo!?!" And i say "No bish Nirvana wasn't an emo band"
Not in the least...if you support something or want to show the positive light of something you do so without using derogatory terms that may affect your position. For example, if someone was racist and he referred to minorities in vulgar terms (i hope i don't have to type out what i mean by that) and someone else were trying to show the racist person that his views or beiefs may be wrong and ended up using the same vulgar terms it kinda defeats the purpose. Same thing with this article...if you wanna rally for this Dante then refer to him as "New Dante" or "DmC Dante" or whatever not "emo Dante" cause then, like i said, it defeats the purpose. You all are being a bit dramatic, aren't you? It isn't like they're trashing Dante. They're only using the term "emo" because that's how the haters refer to him, and this is addressing those haters.
Then all you have is Orance.
