I've decided on waiting a unbearable ten days for the PC release, due to how beautiful and fluid the game looks in comparison to it's console counterparts.

So, I was wondering, who else will wait for the PC release? Do you think it's good enough to wait for it's arrival?

Personally? I've looked at the videos and I don't see a big enough difference to make me wait. Even if I did think the game would be a much better experience on the PC, I'm sure I'd get the console version anyway. I don't think it's going to be something you could consider 'mediocre', although anything even a fraction better in any way must be much more tempting to others.

I wouldn't say no to playing it on a Windows computer or under WINE, but I don't think it will affect my decision much. Love this game too much so far to wait 10 more days. That isn't to say my opinion means much in comparison to what most hardcore PC gamers must think.

I think it's worth the wait. The PC version just looks gorgeous on 60fps. I'll watch some walkthroughs first before the release of the PC version.
Yeah, i don't care if the story will be spoiled to me .

And i don't have any consoles to begin with :/

DO IT! If I had a PC I would. Get your full monehz worth. I wish I could, but my PC can barely run paint in two windows simultaneously without smoke coming out the back.

PC all the way (since I no longer own either a console or a television), assuming my new PC can handle this game at all. But it can just barely run Skyrim, I doubt DmC will be more resource-intensive than that.

Well, if you really want to buy the PC version, I guess you should wait. Only 10 days after the console's release date...

Meanwhile, you can watch online gameplays just to focus on which version you'd like to buy.

Of course, it's only 10 days. Specially if your other option is the horrible PS3 version.

The week of Jan 15th is my last winter break week from classes. I'd wait if I had more productive tasks but with that kind of free time, it would be unbearable. I'll be picking up the 360 version and then the PC version somewhere down the line. Maybe the 25th or maybe during a summer steam sale.

My plan too. I also want to see how the modding community handle this game.

Is not like I have an option, I only own a PC, so I'll have to wait for it, in my country, consoles and games are reaaaaaaaaly expensive lol

I'll still be getting this on PS3, it's just...that's my baby. I have a PC that can run a lot of the more current games, but I don't like to use it that much. Too much extra crap to deal with. When I get it on a console the only thing I have to worry about is whether I have that console, not the correct video car, the right amount of RAM and whatever else.

Maybe it's because technology and I have...misunderstandings...but PC just means more crap that can go wrong and not work >.<

I understand what you mean, but when it's all said and done and it does work, it's defiantly worth it for me.

My friend actually gifted me DmC on Steam so I'm currently playing it on PC. Story aside, I like the combat even though it does feel a bit simplified but the amount of potential combos you can pull off is intriguing. And the game looks great constantly running at 60 fps.
