Yes. chocolateghost79's idea is great.I still don't miss lock on. Bayonetta doesn't need it, Ninja Gaiden doesn't need it, so DmC doesn't need it.
Anyway, choco's idea sounded the best so far

i remember i was arguing with some dude on youtube(shocking i know) and he was telling me how adding lock quadruples your moveset or something stupid like that. so i was like no there is a million ways to create moves without lock on in fact everything from DMC4that required lock on is in DmC soooooo i dont uderstand what we are missing out on. but he refused to understand then i told him that ninja gaiden and bayonetta didnt need lock on for any of the moves. and he made up some BS that people have ALWAYS been complaining that NG should have had it. idk its like people refuse to admit they are wrong.... sorry for venting lolI still don't miss lock on. Maybe his integration back into society and having to deal with the terrorist reputation that the demons gave him.Thank you guys, I'm actually trying to think of a more creative description for the DLC besides just Dante cleaning up the remaining demons.
That could be interesting. People would realize that he was never a terrorist, or some people would deny that he saved them and believe that he is still a terrorist.Maybe his integration back into society and having to deal with the terrorist reputation that the demons gave him.
That's similar to what I was going to say.Yes, and Dante stopping some rogue demon lord to prove them wrong, I imagine Mundus's defeat must have left a power vacum.
I'm sure yours is better and more fleshed out. That's similar to what I was going to say.
Not just yet, but I'm trying to flesh it out. LolI'm sure yours is better and more fleshed out.
I'm looking forward to it.Not just yet, but I'm trying to flesh it out. Lol
Can you believe I know that guy lol I stalk him from afar mwhahahahaYes. chocolateghost79's idea is great.
Looking forward to hearing his idea, do you have one you'd like to share? Can you believe I know that guy lol I stalk him from afar mwhahahaha
That would be quite interesting. and you can spoil.A DLC campaign about Dante trying to find his imprisioned father in Limbo would be cool, I guess
Can we post spoilers here? If so, I have a more direct continuation idea of a DLC.
Not one off the top of my head I was gonna wait until I beat the game to come up with one to see how it would work together with itLooking forward to hearing his idea, do you have one you'd like to share?

Yes, the difference is that Bayonetta and Ninja Gaiden both had a GREAT soft lock. If Ninja Theory is 100% on not having lock-on anymore, they must improve a lot in that department. So much that it'd be much easier to just snap back lock-on and have a tight combat once again.Bayonetta pretty much squashes the idea that you need lockon for more moves. Outside of locking on for Wicked Weaves, only thing you need lockon for in that game is the hightime moves.
Dear god I hope so. Maybe Ninja Theory will take feedback from this backlash and apply it to DmC2 such as making 60 fps and adding a lock-on option.
