“Impressive, demon; harnessing the weapons of Man and twisting them for you own designs. Your kind has made many strides while you shut the Earth away from us,” Daniel said, brushing some dust from his coat.
Daniel’s cherubim swayed and move in unison with him, as if they were an extension of his own body.
****balls. As usual I still miss something when I am reading the damn thing aloud to myself like a crazy person >.<
-At least he didn't take an arrow to the knee...
Somebody could probably mod that into the game since it sounds like a palette swap.I'm actually working on one right now :3
However, what we saw in this latest chapter was only a pseudo-trigger. Much like how now we have the man-demon, that is is full-on Devil Trigger that actually changes his physical form. His Angel Trigger, whenever he invariably unlocks it, will also change his form.
As I'm writing it, Dante's "Devil Trigger" in the game was only the first step, almost a bridge between his normal human-looking form and what he actually is as a demon. He was still so raw back then, that even his first powerful form was an uncontrollable and messy thing - my explanation of the erratic wave of Malice that affects time and gravity. When Dante finally harnessed it better, allowing the transformation into the man-demon, he is essentially harnessing that Malice inside for the transformation, instead of outward where it just makes the world go crazy.
Similarly, what we just saw was the first step to Dante getting is "true Angel Trigger". Dante's look didn't really change all that much for this. What it looks like in plain and simple descriptive terms is he now has a light shining behind his head (a halo), there's an unseen wind making his coat and hood blow about, and much like my interpretation of how the DmC1 DT is just uncontrollably exuding Malice, Dante in the pseudo-AT is just blasting out Grace, which is the mist billowing from underneath his coat. And of course, there's a light blue sheen on his coat.
This kinda makes the "Lord" sound like a racist/fascist.“It is my duty as a servant of the Lord to strike you down."
Plus, if you remember anything about the God of the Old Testament, he was sort of a b!tch when people didn't listen to him
*God looks down on Sodom*
"Awww, are you guys buttfucking? Dammit, where's my brimstone?!"

I'm a Christian, but I also know exactly how to find humor in just about anything One thing that I always thought was really funny was that the entire reason for the New Testament was that essentially God mellowed the f#ck out and had to get Jesus to tell everyone "Okay...so things got a little crazy, so we're just gonna get a little more chill now"
It also just makes me laugh heartily whenever a "Christian" denounces behavior citing the Old Testament - that sh!t ain't even ours!
I don't mean to extend the conversation but, how is 85% a minority?it became exceedingly apparent that 85% of them really were just a loud, loud, loud minority >.<
