Fine, than what would you define as "Angelic" traits exactly?

You don't know about angels ? its a simple Yin&Yang theory

They are holy,humble,peace loving and kindhearted white winged people with a sense of justice....

They are exact opposite of Demons who are evil,ruthless,crude and violent beings with no sense of justice or respect for life..

Even in other cultures you can find similar concepts of "Super good people" And "Super Evil people" they are infact representation of Angels&Demons

what bothers me is that this dante seems to have NO Angelic traits at all..

Ever heard of the tv series like Supernatural?

Or seen the movies like Legion,Wishmaster 3 beyond the gates of hell, or Constantine?

If you haven't heard of anything I just listed then look it up, you will see that Angels aren't always portrayed as goody two shoes.

Angels are actually classicaly portrayed as beautiful yet terrifying forces of nature. They may be Good aligned, but that ain't gonn'a mean they're sugary sweet and NICE about it

but i think you're talking about "Fallen Angels" not "Angels" dante is essentially supposed to be an "Angel" repressing and balancing his Demonic side

no, I'm not talking about "Fallen Angels", each one of those movies or tv series I listed has a interpretation of a angel that is not a goody goody.

I would honestly suggest you wikipedia those titles or youtube them to see what I mean.

I will refernece to you Sodom and Gamora, the First Born killing in Exodus, various parables about Angels bringing wrath down on those deserving...those Angels weren't fallen, they were perfectly in tune with their jobs. Angels may be aligned with Good, again, but they ain't always nice about that fact...
