DmC: Devil May Cry movie still on the table

DMC 3 and 4 more than others. Nothing is original anymore however there is a fine line between taking inspiration from something and just outright ripping off.

4 was the real exact replica
DMC3 ripped off certain elements and characters. But DMC4 was just Bleach featuring Dante.
But we are derailing this thread.

the DMC animation was okay in many levels. Although i found Dante typically cool, his portrayal in the series was toned down to just plain bored. What sucked was all badass characters (Dante, Trish, and Lady) somehow had almost the same type of character type. The kind of "Oh, look, some demons.. looks like we have to kill 'em so won't miss our show" kind of attitude. That archetype portrayed in Japanese media (anime, manga, and games) gets a little stale after a long time. It does not display any sort of versatility most of the time.
Don't get me wrong, i do LOVE anime still. But, honestly, nowadays i finding more interest in western media for the time being.
