DmC Dante Virility Costume

No one likes the cowboy look. I remember first seeing it and thinking to myself...

Me when I first played: "I knew they wanted to make DMC more western, but I think they thought of the wrong kind of west."
 
I thought DMC3 Dante's outfit was a downgrade. I was pretty dissapointed with the John Wayne-Dante. Especially since I liked his design in some of the old E3 trailers. You know, the ones when the game didn't have Nero, and when it was going to be a PS3 exclusive. Those were the days!

If you look back and pay close attention the second DMC4 trailer had the same outfit as the final product. For whatever reason they just kept adding to it, the straps, the chaps, the gold bottons, and the belt (I think).

Yes, but I like it simple. It had a DMC1 vibe to it. Not only that, he didn't look like Alec Baldwin. ;)

well that was before capcom decided to market the game to bring in a female audience with the bright colors and angelic enemies
