DmC Dante obtaining Devil Trigger

We know the final boss is Vergil and he becomes evil at the end (???)

Geez it like DMC4 all over again...I remember in the last trailer for that game they showed Dante fighting the Savior (Mission 18) SO IT COULD BE WORST.

But who didn't see that coming already? I don't really consider that a spoiler or extensive knowledge. We don't know his motives or any kind of context behind the fight.

..How do we even know Vergil is the final boss? when did this become fact?

Not that I care if he is but I am not going to say he is if there is no proof only assumptions.
