DmC Combo Mad

I hate this song, but this is still funny.

I agree with Chaser. The game's combat is designed so that it is possible to chain all sorts of combos without having to rely on JC much.

I think people should spend more time trying to figure out how to catch enemies in a Kablooey explosion or using DT's float mechanic. Creative approaches to those things would be very fun to watch.

I agree. I don't want to see things that we've already seen before.

I'd rather watch people who explore and experiment with different things that DmC has to offer rather than recycling old tactics in gameplay. Like people trying to emulate StarRave or using E&I. Pointless JCing in DmC looks rather....well, pointless. Mainly because Dante is specifically designed to stay in the air with the enemy without the use of JC.

However, seeing stuff like this makes me slightly interested in the combat system:

Combat feels much more orientated towards set-ups rather than technical skill. If you want to show off technical skill the roof is so low you'll just bash your head in.

Kail was good back in his DMC3 days. Idk if he still kept his skill though.

Also I thought the video was alright. However I don't like the way that people are playing DmC like a DMC4/DMC3 game with unnecessary jump cancelling. There were only a few videos that I could pick out in which there wasn't any JCs involved that I was honestly impressed with.
I'm kind of interested in seeing these. Would you mind posting a few?

How did I miss this? That was bloody aw- err Bloody Palace! The DMC community EASILY have the best editing skills of any community. That's saying something against the CoD and SF people(not that they are bad) but the editing in these videos are awesome and mostly obviously the combos are frikkin' sweet!
